SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs LOS ANGELES RAMS - 2017 Game 3

Against CAR our D kept us in the game in the 1st half. Against SEA our D kept us in the game all game. I'll expect the same tonight. I just hope Hoyer can get something done. If Hoyer has less than 100 yds passing and no TD's by half, maybe CJ should go in the 2nd half.

We aren't going to see Beathard unless Hoyer gets hurt.

Our defense has been the beneficiary of playing 2 bad offensive teams. Don't let that fool you into thinking our defense is good or even average. We're improving, but our defense is still in the bottom half of the league. The Rams are likely going to destroy us tonight.

It will be a huge moral victory and really something to hang our hat on if we manage to score a TD this game. Even if it comes in the 4th quarter when we're already being blown out. Anything we can do to show some sign of improvement on offense will be a plus.

I had to dvr it. Thursday games suck. If it was on the weekend I could have gone.

Nah...I think we see him sooner than later especially if Hoyer continues to play like he has been. Lynch/Shanny needs to see what they have in CJ. They know Hoyer isn't the future, we all do. They need to decide if their going to draft a QB their 1st pick or go after one in FA. To me, the cousins thing would be intriguing because they can then spend their 1st on a stud WR.

Hoyer just needs to game manage his way to 120+ passing yards, let the niners D and niners rush game do the work.
