This was the perfect outcome.
Yeah, I agree - be competitive without endangering our draft position.

Dumervil had a sack early erased by a phantom penalty
Yes, and the sack was on a third down play. After that, the Rams scored a TD. So, the refs definitely screwed the Niners. By my count, there were at least 6 phantom calls against the Niners the past 2 games and none on the opponents....and that doesn't take into account the missed calls, such as the PI on Sherman last week in Seattle and the holding on the winning TD pass. Just pathetic.....or fixed.....or both. I would hope that Jed was on the phone with Roger tonight. You never saw this crap in the Cowboy games....even when they sucked. This game was stolen from the Niners tonight....flat out stolen.
You don't get to say games were stolen until you can make extra points, not fumble or throw a pick on first play of game.
WHEn you play quality ball then you can blame refs

Yeah I just have no idea what the ref's were seeing there. If anything the corner does more pushing than Taylor. I just don't know how you make that call at that point in the game unless the pass interference is simply glaring or obvious.

There are only 5 possibilities...
1) They were paid off
2) They had money on the game
3) They are Rams fans
4) They can't f**king see
5) They suck beyond all recognition
I'm open to other suggestions though...
Vegas spread?

If I was watching this alone I would've been screaming. Refs were terrible. But at least we've shown signs of what's kyles offense can do, and it was fun to watch.

The hell with that. Win.
Its week 3. You guys are worried about the damn draft?
No. We arent going to the playoffs this year, but giving up on the season before it gets going is pathetic.
I want wins every week. I really dont care about the draft. If that's the case, you should just take the year off from football. Heaven forbid we win a game and the jets and colts are higher draft picks than us.
Unbelievable.

True, true. Thank God we had those challenges. That's three more big calls they would have screwed us on. On that note, can you not challenge on holding penalties? Guess not.

Witherspoon cant even make the gameday roster, Williams was beat out by an undrafted guy and instead of releasing him a mysterious injury put him out for the year. Oh and George Kittle is just a bigger version of Bruce Ellington, always hurt with minor things
