Down to the wire game. Still in hunt for high drafted QB.

Yeah, I agree - be competitive without endangering our draft position.

Dumervil had a sack early erased by a phantom penalty

Yes, and the sack was on a third down play. After that, the Rams scored a TD. So, the refs definitely screwed the Niners. By my count, there were at least 6 phantom calls against the Niners the past 2 games and none on the opponents....and that doesn't take into account the missed calls, such as the PI on Sherman last week in Seattle and the holding on the winning TD pass. Just pathetic.....or fixed.....or both. I would hope that Jed was on the phone with Roger tonight. You never saw this crap in the Cowboy games....even when they sucked. This game was stolen from the Niners tonight....flat out stolen.

You don't get to say games were stolen until you can make extra points, not fumble or throw a pick on first play of game.
WHEn you play quality ball then you can blame refs

The Rams made many, many mistakes tonight so do not dare to tell me that they deserved to win this game!

Yeah I just have no idea what the ref's were seeing there. If anything the corner does more pushing than Taylor. I just don't know how you make that call at that point in the game unless the pass interference is simply glaring or obvious.

There are only 5 possibilities...

1) They were paid off
2) They had money on the game
3) They are Rams fans
4) They can't f**king see
5) They suck beyond all recognition

I'm open to other suggestions though...

Vegas spread?

Add that to the list...
If I was watching this alone I would've been screaming. Refs were terrible. But at least we've shown signs of what's kyles offense can do, and it was fun to watch.

The hell with that. Win.

Its week 3. You guys are worried about the damn draft?

No. We arent going to the playoffs this year, but giving up on the season before it gets going is pathetic.

I want wins every week. I really dont care about the draft. If that's the case, you should just take the year off from football. Heaven forbid we win a game and the jets and colts are higher draft picks than us.

Unbelievable.

Yeah even though we're 0-3, we've seen the defense, offense and special teams even all look pretty good at some point. We just need to put it all together and that will take time.

Patience, people. There will be ugly blowouts, there will be games like tonight, there will be a few wins. Just relax, realize there's no pressure on our team for this year, and enjoy some (semi) stress-free football

Do I need to repeat myself on how fans cry when we win and now cry when we lose?

True, true. Thank God we had those challenges. That's three more big calls they would have screwed us on. On that note, can you not challenge on holding penalties? Guess not.
John Lynch needs to face more questions about his s**tty draft choices of Witherspoon and Joe Williams. Witherspoon cant even make the gameday roster, Williams was beat out by an undrafted guy and instead of releasing him a mysterious injury put him out for the year. Oh and George Kittle is just a bigger version of Bruce Ellington, always hurt with minor things

Absolutely...and please somebody tell me when the last time the Niners were beneficiaries of a phantom call.... I think maybe around 2013.
Don't y'all love how hard the NFL is working to hide that missed offensive PI call on Taylor? Literally only one replay from a bad angle during the game, and then the broadcasters and the post game hosts never bring it up again and do not even show it. Now I just watched the game highlights on NFL network's total access show and they did not even cover that play, they just skipped straight to the sack from Donald to end the drive. Agenda?

I know, I know we did not lose the game on just one penalty and should not have put ourselves in that position, but that call had a MASSIVE impact on the outcome of that game and the NFL is acting like it never even happened. At least ESPN brought it up and they were quite skeptical on the call. It seems to me the NFL is really concerned with their perception right now based on the low ratings and poor play everyone is talking about from the first couple weeks of the season and are trying extremely hard to protect the brand. Kind of annoys me though.

It's three gam--

Do you know what never mind.
The last time we scored 39 was when we played the Jaguars in London in 2013.

Anybody know the last time we had 421+ yards?
