This is NOT the same old sorry ass Rams.

Eh they couldn't beat an average Washington team and barely beat a bad 49ers team. Lets not get carried away.

You can see it coming together. Offense was always the question. That's starting to be answered now.
I think both teams broke a record last night for most spun balls after a play lol.

Pretty disappointing. Our offense looked terrible in the first half, confused ineffective no execution no playmaker at wide out. I think that shanny spent a lot of time installing a complicated scheme and not coaching up fundamentals.

We look very messy there. Never seen joe get a false start call on second and doable in how many years? That just points to confusion, to me. And hoyer is playing scared, just like gabbert. Get rid of the 2 man.

The defense was junior varsity playing against all stars. I dont know how to put it any other way. Seattle must be absolutely rock bottom. We dont look like we have any beef out there against the big guys. You cant play rookies against good vets. Just cant do it. Too many years in the weight room. We have some players but every run i saw gurley fell forward turning 3 to 5, 4 to 7.

Um the second coming of 2012? Im not seeing it. But we have some pieces. I dont think all the defensive movement and shifting helps. The players arent reading the offense, thinking about their shift assignment.

If you wonder can we be competitive with 100m$ cap space the answer is no.

The Giants defense in 2015 sucked worse than ours last year/now and they bought a $200MM defense last season and became top 5.

no,. that is what alot of people do.. when our team loses and sucks.. they try to deflect by saying.. but but but.. the niners faced elite front 7's in the first two games. and now.. but but. the rams are good. at some point in time you have to call a spade a spade. at some point in time you have to face facts there are no excuses. there is no positive spin. there are no peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. the team and players are who they are. top 15 defense my ass. of course jr. thought it was a nice idea to have our two pass rushers set on the bench playing checkers but thats beside the point. spin that one in a positive way.
That screwed my preseason prediction as I had us sweeping the Rams. Oh well,

Suck for Sam (and hope he comes out)!
Very disappointing to lose to the Rams at home. Yes they maybe better but so should we shouldn't we? Baalke really killed us with terrible drafting. I just hope we win next week so I didn't blow money on tix lol

They just gave up 5 TDs to a team that didn't have any.
Damn...people need to settle the f**k down! The Rams are a MUCH better team than last year. They have WAY more talent than the current 49ers. Shanny and Company will get things addressed over the next couple years.

Enjoy the process and watch the growth!

Let's see, we need:

1. Shut Down CB
2. Franchise QB
3. Speed Edge Rusher

So the 3 most expensive hard to find positions are the ones we need. Just great.

You can potentially buy two of the three in an offseason.

You cannot buy a DL or an LB corps or an entire secondary.

The Niners may lack star power but I think they may have a bit of the base you need to produce when the stars come.

The Rams go to Dallas and then home for Seattle. The one good thing they did under Fisher was play the 'Hawks as well as anybody in the league. Their O vs. Seattle's D could be very entertaining. If they're for real, they'll win that one and go to 3-2.

Yeah because it's clearly impossible for both to play well at the same time

I agree. With the new coaches it looks like the Rams are headed in a much better direction. For those who are upset that we didn't spend money in free agency like the Rams, it is probably worth remembering that winning the division doesn't really mean squat, particularly if it hurts your chances at winning a Superbowl the next year. The Rams have a lot of talent by virtue of drafting high for many years, and with their cap space they are in a position to peak over the next few years so it makes sense to ramp up spending now. We have a less talented team with a few key pieces missing that will take time to find and develop. Our peak is out there a bit further than the Rams so it makes sense for us to keep the powder dry for now.
