There is a Dak vs Jimmy thread there where the person claimed that if the teams traded QB's, They would have destroyed us in the playoffs. "Jimmy will retire as the most accurate passer in NFL history".."Jimmy has the best deep ball accuracy in the league". Why can't GM's around the league think like this?

This is about the funniest effing thing that I've heard for a while. . Jimmy>Dak???😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😬😬😬😬🤡🤡

Love the bold prediction. Not going to happen. He wont last a season or two especially if they have there sights set on next years QB draft class.
Dak has stacked teams too and hasnt accomplished a single thing besides stats. Winning? No, stupid... Stats... A true great.

Fantasy football ow defines a QB yay!

I'm telling yeah Panthers are gonna try to move down, get extra picks and use one of those picks on Jimmy. Give him a small extension to spread out that cap hit and let Jimmy show what he's got. They can go all in on a QB in a yr or so.

If I'm the Panthers I'm taking Baker over Jimmy.

If the asking price of each is the same I agree.

I don't think either guy is a FQB. One has $18M FGTD the other can have his cap hit redone. Both had shoulder injuries. One is a leader/locker room guy the other is a headache there.

That would make sense if they were competing for his services. They know we are not keeping him in '22, so why not just save their picks and wait for him to be a FA?

So wait until the last day of roster cuts like a week before games start? Jimmy is gonna be able to take part in all of training camp and preseason. If your plan is to start him then you need that. It's not like they're gonna be given up massive picks for him regardless

Agreed but what FQB is left? That's not what they are after. Mayfield is the better mediocre QB.
How funny would it be if AZ traded Murray to ATL or the Panthers and got Mayfield (played under Kliff) lol

okay I'll take my tinfoil hat off

If Murray leaves We will be the only team to improve at QB this off season. Rams stayed same. Other 2 took a s**t.
Breer's last article about the top 12 picks…

"6. Carolina Panthers: The Panthers are having tackles in now, and in the coming days, after having six quarterbacks in over a three-day period (Monday to Wednesday). And I wouldn't rule out the idea that they'd take a tackle, and maybe swing a trade for Jimmy Garoppolo after the draft, since the need for a tackle here is pretty significant."

he has them taking a QB just because but he believes they will try to move down.

If they're both mediocre, who cares…then you look at the other stuff like attitude, leadership, willingness to be that bridge QB, money etc…

reports I've seen are that Carolina isn't interested in Mayfied and the feeling is mutual. Baker didn't mention them yesterday when he talked about where he thought he would go.

we will see. I get it we all think Jimmy stinks. Mayfield stunk even more this past yr. It's not like he played on a bad roster or some massively different scheme either. Players aren't exactly stepping up to the plate to backup Mayfield, not even close to what players are doing for Jimmy. That s**t does matter.

True. Neither one taking them anywhere. I'd rather have Mayfield but can see why you would pick Jimmy. Both turds so hopefully they see it your way and help us out.

Yeah I mean I'm not saying it likely but if they moved down on draft night…don't be shocked.
