Foles had an amazing 2017 3 game playoff run in which he had a QB rating of 115.7, 72.6% completion rate, 971 passing yards, 6 tds , 1 td catch, 1 int, and Super Bowl MVP while beating Tom Brady.

That crushes Jimmy's pathetic 7 game playoff stats with a 74.1 QB rating, 60.6% completion rates, 962 yards, 4 tds, 6 ints.

No team is trading a draft pick in order to pay $25 million for subpar talent when there are better and cheaper options. At this point, if the FO doesn't cut him as soon as he's healthy, then they're being delusional.

Nick Foles. Of course. Why didn't we think of that. He's the answer. Lets dump jimmy a top 15 qb for nick foles because of his 3 game hot streak four years ago.

As a back up who can step in and guide a team to contention at a cheaper salary? Yes, then he's the answer.

The point of the comment is that there is no rational financial or talent basis to keep Jimmy.

NFL.com ranks him at #20 and that's being generous.

And it wasn't a hot streak. Foles has had a better career than Jimmy as he did make it to the Pro Bowl under Chip Kelly.

He has experience in RPO, Play action, and stepping in for a highly drafted NDSU QB. And again, he's far cheaper option.

Lol Mac Jones(I actually like Mac), Wentz who literally lost to the Jags to get eliminated in a weak division, Jalen Hurts, who literally did nothing...at all? Same as Teddy?

How stupid lol.

Okay, please offer support as to why Jimmy is an above average QB. Provide examples such as stats, footage, accomplishments, etc.

If not, you're just arguing for arguing sakes.

And I have to point out that you ignored the fact that Nick Foles has a Pro Bowl and Super Bowl MVP on his resume, while Jimmy doesn't and probably never will.

Or that Jimmy was out dueled by Wentz. Try to be more consistent in your arguments.

JJimmy ranks 14 or higher in NFL and qbr the last two years he's been healthy. Do you mean stats like that?

That's cherry picking data. His playoff stats drop off significantly in the playoffs, even when he was healthy.

Outdueled? In Jimmy's worst game as a Niner? I already pointed out that Jimmy beat the Super Bowl Champs(best team in the league) to get in while Wentz lost to the worst team in the league... Outdueled though in literal hurricane type conditions.

Jimmy-

2021 stats: 18 games | 66.8 pct | 4,345 pass yds | 8.4 ypa | 22 pass TD | 15 INT | 56 rush yds | 3 rush TD | 8 fumbles

Wentz

2021 stats: 17 games | 62.4 pct | 3,563 pass yds | 6.9 ypa | 27 pass TD | 7 INT | 215 rush yds | 1 rush TD | 8 fumbles

Hurts

2021 stats: 16 games | 60.6 pct | 3,402 pass yds | 7.2 ypa | 17 pass TD | 11 INT | 823 rush yds | 10 rush TD | 10 fumbles

Tannehill

2021 stats: 18 games | 67.0 pct | 3,954 pass yds | 7.1 ypa | 22 pass TD | 17 INT | 282 rush yds | 7 rush TD | 10 fumbles

Nick Foles

1 game
A literal backup. The fact that I even have to explain is absolutely embarrassing. There's been a lot of stupid arguments but this one is top 5 easily.

Keep in mind that Jimmy also missed 2.5 games and played with semi serious injuries in at least 4. Without those injuries it's not even close.

He's right there with Ryan who didn't do anything, Cousins who is terrible against winning teams, and Tannehill who had worse stats. Only one of these guys made it minutes from a Super Bowl and only 2 have been there.

Not a fan of Jimmy, but not much else he could have done there. The O-Line got manhandled on that particular play. The scary thing Is, It could be much worse this year, especially If Mack calls It a day.

Cherry picking data? They're comprehensive stats that are supposed to measure every aspect of qb performance. Each season reflects 16 or 17 games of performance. What are you talking about.

Don't forget the missed, wide open, Deebo down the left sideline and the wide open Aiyuk in the intermediate, middle of the field on the same play on the 2nd to last drive of the game.

Do Rodgers final drive

I'm not saying Jimmy is better but bad plays happen.

It is though whether you like it or not. People have some bizarre expectations of qb performance in the nfl. Dumb plays and head scratchers come with the territory. Even for top 5 guys never mind 2nd quartile qbs like jimmy.

To your point about jimmy in the playoffs last year, yea he didn't do well. Maybe the worst hes done since hes beebn here honestly. Hope the surgery helps. Still did well enough to beat the rams cowboys and packers in the clutch. So at least there's that.

Yeah, this is top 15 QB talent.

Go look at the last offensive play of the benagls in the superbowl. Burrow played it exactly the same way. Burrow is a top 15 qb right? The oline is s**t. It was a problem this year. It was a problem in the niners superbowl. And this organization continues to ignore it by filling in gaps with past their prime veterans, s**tty journeymen, and udfa rookies.

But keep blaming one guy.
Lol shows a guy making a mistake against the best defense in the league that if he didn't make we maybe go to the Super Bowl.

Now I gurentee you I can find similar mistakes if not worse by a vast majority of the QBs in front and behind him.

Dumb dumb dumb argument lol

You are aware that my posts started in response to keeping Jimmy around as a back up in case Lance gets injured, right?

To which I argued that Nick Foles is a better option because in both his Pro Bowl and Super Bowl MVP seasons, he was a back up who stepped in and excelled, which is a better option than Jimmy at a cheaper salary.

Ironic, that you use the term 'stupid' and yet need to be brought up to speed.
