0-16 got em Stafford and megatron and into the playoffs for a few years now. Scratch that megatron was already there lol.Originally posted by TheWooLick:Originally posted by evil:Originally posted by cciowa:thats fine . until the team finds way to win a game instead of losing them, we will have a losing culture which makes it hard for people to sign to come here. i would like to think the trade for jimmy helps in that regard but as the losing continues....Originally posted by evil:Originally posted by cciowa:Originally posted by evil:Considering we had a stretch of 5 games where we lost by 3 or fewer before the injuries and had chances to win those games, I'd venture to say you are wrong.
thats fine. we obviously had a losing culture because the team could not finish and found ways to lose and not win.i would say you vastly over value our team and its potential it had before the season started. i understand some differ but to me i am not sure how you can establish a winning culture when all you do is lose games
I would say you are wrong.
I think the number of injuries and players on IR is something agents will be well aware of and taken into account if and when the 9ers are calling about FA's.
If the team becomes the second team in NFL history to go 0-16 it may be hard to get anyone to buy into what this team is selling FAs.
They gotta win one.

They had one winning season in the five following 0-16. Shanalynch will have to do a lot better than that to keep their jobs.
I still think this team will win one or two games this year.

Without any protection or any dependable receivers to throw to, I would be leary about putting Jimmy in there. If I did, I would make sure to advise him NOT to try and be a hero and get injured in the process. It would be senseless to put in your future franchise QB in a losing season just to see if you can win a game or two and watch him commit suicide.
I would rather not use him this season UNLESS they can bring back some of their injured more experienced players. I absolutely wouldn't use him unless something happens to Beathard. Let Jimmy start fresh with healthy players!

You should jump on another team's bandwagon. And when the 49ers actually gives a damn about winning, come back. Jed York doesn't care about winning.

Smoke, even if we win a game or two, we should still be picking top 3. With the Browns and Giants looking for a FQB, we should have our pick of the best OL, RB, DE or WR.

Top two would be great, too. I'm just saying, if we had to make a pick, we'll have the best non Qb's available to pick from.

If we beat the giants I smell 3rd pick. Both finish 1-15. Cleveland 0-16. TB is right there too.

We need to win at least one game
If not this one....the hapless bears are still on the schedule

He cares about building this team in a long term winner, he is not looking for short terms gains at the expense of the long term vision.
