Who needs to pass when all they do is just run right through our defense. O-16 is looking really probable.

f**k that. I don't want to go winless for the number one overall. We possibly have our FQB, so there is no need for it. I don't want the blemish in 49er history.
Also, I find it interesting that posters were all upset about being 5-1 in SB (at least we had a shot at #6) but are okay with being one of the few teams to go 0-16 in NFL history. I don't get it.
We have needs at LEO, OL (OC and OG) WR, CB, S, LB and depth questions behind starters. If we do have the #1 overall in a QB-rich draft with a bunch of bad teams looking to trade up? I'd LOVE to take their picks if there isn't a consensus #1 overall pick for LEO, WR or CB. We could gain picks for 2018 and 2019 further building this roster into a contender simply because of bragging rights in 2017? Nah. Trust, if we contend for 6 following seasons, no one will care about a bad record in 2017.
Yes, I agree this team needs a lot of help. But, I don't see that top prospect that other teams will be willing to trade the farm for.
As far as bragging rights for 2017? That is not just 2017, that is FOREVER. We will be lumped in with Lions any time any team is winless to start a season.

Really? You'll rather go winless than have a shot at a SB. Yes, gimme a break.
Also, it doesn't matter if we have all the draft capital of the world if we don't use it correctly (see Baalkee). As of right now it doesn't seem like last years draft was a success, I know, I know, give it some time.

Bruh this makes no sense.
he has to be trolling
Naw some people take that "super bowl or bust" figure of speech literally.
This is a joke. Rather go winless than make the SB because the fear of losing. WTF??

There are only two ways to have a successful season - win the SB, or win the #1 overall pick. Anything in between is a failure at both.

Without a doubt. Especially since the only loss came in the Super Bowl. How is that even a question? You win every game but the one that matters most?

I said I'd rather go 0-16 than lose the super bowl. Just ask the bills if they take pride in just going to the Super Bowl.Originally posted by Bay2Bay9erAllday:Originally posted by Young2Rice:Originally posted by TheHYDE49er:Originally posted by lamontb:Originally posted by TheRealGM:I'd rather go 0-16 than lose the super bowl.
