I think he means 8-8 in 2009 and then the 0-5 start in 2010, so yes.

That 2009 team really should have been a playoff team. It had all the talent of the Harbaugh teams and had several close losses on top of the 8 wins.

Yes and no. Yes. we often had teams finish well only to revert back to losers. But those teams didn't finish 5-0 with elite qb play. Things are different this year even though I do think we should be a little bit cautious given the strength of our division.

you are right. that is when we had a dips**t coach who put no stock in a good quarterback. alex was damaged goods mentally and physically thanks to nolan and dips**t sing. thank god for troy smith
