Bro, you don't need to make excuses for every player and coach on the team. It's OK.
I'm not sure what combination is going to work here. They slide Lenoir inside and he gets roasted. Ambry outside and he instantly gets beat deep (P.I.). Oliver appears to be benched.

They've got to start seeing what they have with Womack and Luter now before the playoffs???

we kind of know with Warmack being back

Oliver is not that bad but he isn't meant to go after the shifty slot guy he is good against the bigger body guys (why he had such a great game against CeeDee for example).

Lenior well shift inside with Womaack on the outside. Oliver will guard the bigger body guys with Lenior after the shifter guys

Yeah, let's see if that combination works. Just keep trying until we find the best combination and hope that'll be enough esp. for teams equipped to pass < 2.5s by game plan to render our pass rush moot.

I'd imagine we'll see more and more of that against smarter HC's after yesterday's asswhooping.

Are you happy 9ers4eva? Our units-of-concern played well last night.

Next test: Philly.

Agree, and I'll just add that Luter, in addition to a healthy Womack hopefully can solidify and build on that defensive backfield talent. We shall see, specially with the upcoming Eagles game.

For sure.
Any safeties available since it's getting pretty thin.

If Thomas can keep playing at this current level. 3 weeks now he's played solid.

I'm still concerned about Wilkes having them play too soft against Philadelphia however.
Based on what ward did last night he should be following Brown around all game. Brown and DK are similar body types so should be a good matchup

Agreed. Awesome test coming up for that.
Big shout out to the secondary. Holy s**t!

There were MANY times, Hurts had all day back there. He'd even buy extra time with his legs. Still no one to throw too. And when he did, they knocked it down.

Incredibly impressive!

Best game I've seen from a 49ers secondary in many many years. We were lock down and smacking fools
