Probably why his thread is only 20 pages. Nothing to b***h about.

Lol this
It almost seems too good to be true, how did he fall to the third round? Was he seen as a tweener for how he played in college? Is it a perceived "lack of physicality" I've heard about? (I don't see it). Weak competition from playing at BYU? I think he's going to be a great fit for us.

Anybody listen to the podcast with the BYU head coach?

https://www.49ers.com/audio/fns-podcast-kalani-sitake-says-fred-warner-is-as-real-as-it-gets

This dude gushes over Warner so much that I found it awkward to listen to.

Is this dude in love with Warner or is he like this with all his players? I've never heard a coach being so effusive in his praise.

Nah man, it's just that Poly passion from the coach. Polys are very passionate when they're describing someone they really care about or someone that did nothing but good to them. Maybe a little exaggeration here and there, but for the most part, he's telling the truth.

Huh, I learned something new today! Thanks!

So, you don't think it's because he has more love for Warner than other players? He'd talk up all the ones he likes the same way?

And rightfully so. They have been one of the worst teams in CFB the past 2 seasons. Wagner was the only bright spot in a rather embarrassing season.

As far as Sitake he's a players coach and he's damn good at being a players coach. As said above he's probably a little homerish but Warner is a damn good player. When BYU played Utah he was basically the only player keeping BYU afloat. Dude single handely was changing the complexion of the game.

Warner definitely earned praise. I loved the pick. It was the only one that made me cheer when it was announced.

I just haven't heard a coach gush that much before. I guess it was just me.

I don't think I've actually seen or heard any of those interviews. I totally believe it, though.

Maybe I just haven't listened to enough coach interviews.

My boy is right, but nah, I don't think he'd talk the same about all the players.

I'll cream my pants when we can start talking about Warner and Foster playing side by side.
