That's good man you should be. The reason his coach talks about him like that is cause it's all true. When you hear of boxes being checked on prospects, he's one of them that absolutely checks them all. High IQ? Check. 32 on wonderlic, highest of all linebackers and even higher than lots of QB's. Size? 6'3 is pretty damn good for a linebacker to send out in coverage. Check. Speed? 4.6 40 for that size? Yeah check. Squeaky clean background, just listen to one of this guys interviews and you know it. One of the biggest reasons I wanted Minkah Fitzpatrick is because of his versatility in the secondary, just like Honey Badger. I 100% believe Warner is that for the linebacker position. I think he can play the Mike, Will or Sam and thrive at all of them. He can even be our slot corner if need be, that's actually where he played most this past year.

Yep, I was excited when they picked him and I've only felt better about the pick as I learned more. I feel like he will end up being a major steal.

wonder if they will put Warner, Smith, and Foster on the field at the same time. That would be one of the fastest LB corps. With our oversized DEs, it would be super hard to run against that. No luck up the middle and will be chased down if they try to kick it outside.
