On the topic of last night's game--Remember when some prominent draft people on here argued that Dallas hit a homerun pick with LVE, and that Fred Warner was a guy whose tape wasn't impressive, didn't make enough plays and could only play Will LB in the NFL. LVE is literally 💩 and Fred is a future first-ballot HOFer. That was the last year I wasted in that forum.

Warner was drafted when the 49ers coaching staff was still dicking around with changing the positions of the players they drafted. DJ Reed (CB to S), Tavarius Moore (S to CB), Soloman Thomas (DT to DE). Warner's position switch ended up being the right call. Probably because he's a stud.

I forgot who the Senior Bowl coaching staff was that year, but credit to them because they put Fred at a stack LB. Dude was balling from the jump. I knew he was going to be a good stack LB after that.
The most complete LB in the game today.

Fast, Ferocious, can hit & cover receivers, rush the passer and get tackles for a loss.
This was my favorite play of his that night. I want a picture of Fred as he was jumping at Dak, arms speed out like he was flying and those bad ass dreads just COMING off him!

Fred Warner is not human:

Anyone think Bowman was better than Fred ??

Bowman was probably a better pass rusher. He was really good in coverage and so damn smooth.

Having said that, it's probably Warner over Bowman.
He also is probably the most handsome man in football juss sayin'. Damn good lookin' dude lol

For me it's Willis > Warner > Bowman > Greenlaw
Bow was awesome in coverage, but Fred is on a different level. There's a case to be made that Fred is already the best cover LB in NFL history. I can't think of another LB in NFL history that consistently carries wide receivers and blankets them. People don't realize how insane it is that Fred mugs the A gaps and then carries a receiver up the field. It's not like he's some tiny LB that can run around: Fred is 6'4", 240 lbs. Nobody eliminates more throws from happening than Fred, and those don't show up on the stat sheet. What he does is so alien it doesn't compute.

Fred is long, explosive and has ability to bend. He's always seen working on his craft with Nick Bosa. I wouldn't be surprised if he adds legitimate ability to rush from the edge to his arsenal and turns into a better version of Kyle Van Noy.

why put him at the edge when he can rush the middle (his normal position) without tipping the offense on what were going to do ? and he would be close to the QB in the middle

Huh? They already put him at edge in some of their pressure packages. It's not new.
