Need to shut him down for the season. Time to see what the back ups like Winters have and start finding out who can be part of the future going forward.

STFU and go back to your Seahawks forum

you would give up your 12 year old left testicle to have an injured, let alone healthy, Fred Warner on your team. So shut it

Seahawks got Ernest Jones now they've had the best D in the league since adding him and cutting Dodson. They have a nice young squad up there tbh and their schedule is gravy fod the most part. I like Seattle winning the division due to better quality control and quality of depth and easier schedule. They already played the Bills and Lions

He should just shut it down for the season already; we ain't going anywhere anyways, definitely not winning the SB. Him and Purdy both before more damage is done and jeopardizes next season
Well that explains the huge fall off. He was player of the year material the first 4 games.

I would agree with this idea. Need to sit him to protect him from himself before he injures himself worse
I am guessing he has an avulsion fracture since he can run and bear weight. It can be done and there is little risk to more damage. It is painful more so after games or practice as it can be somewhat controlled with pain meds or a shot. Will take 4 to 6 weeks after he shuts down to fully heal.
This season is over so why the f**k is he playing with a broken bone because we'll need him for the future
Apparently a broken Warner is still better than any backup playing behind him. Sigh.
Put the guy on ice and let him heal. We can't win this season.
I don't understand. The jig is up. The season is done. Even if he can be out there shot full of drugs, why? All we need is a new thread Kyle the crap coach let him play and now it's worse. Why chance it? Shut it down.

Because these players get paid on incentives so they bend the truth to play.

has nothing to do with Kyle
I'm down for putting Fred on ice so to speak.
Having been inside NFL locker rooms, I know the tale of the needle, and what players go through pre, and in-game to play.
However, not everyone does well with pain killers.

My worry, is that on top of the injections he might also be taking pills, which are a totally different animal, and more addictive.
Many a player's careers, as well as their well being, have been ruined going the route of pain pills, and their addictive nature.

Jeremy Newberry is on dialysis because Tordal ruined his kidneys. I don't know how serious the fracture is but if it could get worse then they should shut him down. Same for Greenlaw. He's starting to practice but what's the point. Even if they manage to squeek into the playoffs they aren't likely to advance very far.

The Dark Side of the NFL …
Re: Jeremy Newberry, is the type of reaction I'm talking about, and his situation is just the proverbial "Tip of the Iceberg".
We all get it, the NFL is a "Not For Long" performance league, and it's understandable the FO was/is trying to maximise
the roster, and see their way to a few more wins if possible. Problem is, I think this is collectively worse than 2020.

Even though "Any Given Sunday" or Monday & Thursday is a reality, from my POV, the writing is on the wall for the 49ers
to continue their roller coaster season. I'd hope Jed talks to Lynch/Shanahan -- if he hasn't already -- about not sacraficing
the future for the now.

Reasonable fans will understand - fair weather fans, that's another story in itself!
