One of the things that makes Wade Phillips' defenses good is that he has guys coming at your from all points of the compass. Though part of that is talent, it is also scheme. Every place he goes, sacks go up.

Go look at how Wade fared his first year in the NFL as DC. We have no idea what kind of DC Saleh can be when given sufficient talent to work with.

As we saw, this past year he ran a pretty simple system in order to allow guys to "find their way" and develop chemistry. I expect to see that change somewhat this season as players will be more settled in to each other and what is expected of them.

Yeah, we just need one. Hopefully, some on the new help will shine. We're going to have to wait for the '19 draft to get that franchise edge rusher.
