This should not be overlooked. He looked great today. We went from Donte Johnson to Richard Sherman and Seattle just sent Johnson to I.R. and his backup, Flowers is hurt (ribs).

Definitely. That play where Cousins beat Coyle to the perimeter does not transpire like that against Reuben.

He hurt us more catching passes out of the backfield.

oh hell ya, Coyle was a major liability out there. I hope they go with Lee until Ruben is back.

Also an area where Foster would be helpful. Having both him and Warner flying around, attacking the run and defending passes in the intermediate area is going to make this defense that much tougher. There is a massive dropoff going from Foster to Coyle.

Pretty sure Cousins loses his head if Foster was in.

Fred Warner (12 tackles, forced fumble, pass breakup) became the first member of the #49ers to have 10-plus tackles, a forced fumble and a pass breakup since NaVorro Bowman in 2013.

What a find this kid was. Hero you nailed this one during predraft. I hadn't even paid attention to him until you started pumping his name. He and Reuben look like their gonna be a tremendous duo.

Yep. Hero was singing his praises when he was getting fairly little attention. He made that thread before the 49ers ever met with him.
