No knock on Warner but I think it's because he followed Willis & Bowman, we are used to elite LB play around here so it's not special to most 49ers fans, it's expected!

This. He doesn't stick out like those guys but you look at the stat sheet and realize he's consistently having terrific games and making one or two huge plays.

Yes sir!

I love the kid, but I also like him without all of the hype. He's quiet storm...
So happy to see Fred win the award. He had a great game and deserves it.
Fred has mastered punching that ball out.

Because there isn't much to complain/whine about with Fred Warner.

My son.

HA on point through the draft process about this kid
Their system probably assigns all those screwball coverages where Thomas and bosa are supposed to cover the rb to warner. Hurting his score.

Very well put!

If he keeps improving, he'll be recognized as elite.
I was just talking to the Mrs. about this guy the other night telling her "he doesn't get the credit, but Fred Warner is a stud, i'd love his jersey, presents, infos"

Warner is a STUD. I was telling the Mrs. how he was one of those few players that I really didn't know much about when we drafted him, but am so so happy we did.

Reminds me of Charles "Peanut" Tillman with that accuracy and punch speed. I love the mentality!
I don't think there's a linebacker playing better than him right now.
Here's my opinion on how to slow down Lamar Jackson. U leave on safety to spy on him all the play. Linebackers to slow to cover him when's running. IMO we play tart at the other lb spot and his main purpose is to spy on kackson
What a draft pick.
One thing that has changed this season is the physicality. Freddy is lighting people up this year. I knew it would be an adjustment for him at 6'3" moving to stack LB, but he's learned how to break down his body and be the hammer this year. He's also only a baby, so I expect him to be 240+ lbs skull-cracking LB in the future.

It's also no fluke that he's forcing so many fumbles. This guy just attacks the ball better than maybe any LB in the NFL right now.

You were all over this one.

And I gotta admit I was not sure about him. Whoops.
