This. Hope the NFL takes a good, long look at this hit by Mostert. That's about as good of a form tackle as you can have going full speed and not leading with your head. This is what Lott made a living doing. The officials need to just call the blatantly obvious head-leading hits...the hits where everyone can see it as such, the spearing hits, etc.

In the Jags-Vikes game, Ed Hochuli & Co. were flagging guys for breathing. Seriously, I think they were taking preseason seriously and working on their flag throwing technique.

Edit - Shawn Hochuli now I guess. I forgot the elder retired. Old habits die hard.

You need the Raiders to say yes in order to trade for "the Raiders guy" (who has a name btw)

There are ways to address the pass rush but wishing for a team to drop a top 3 edge rusher in the league into our laps is a pipe dream.

i think elvis is a very very realistic possibility in about two more weeks. in regards to the trade with the raiders,,, i got jacked up when i saw that forbes article last week cuz it made very good sense to me. of course i know its a long shot. since the team has decided to neglect this area. i think the best we can do is get elvis back in here. shirley the coaches can see that eli is not the man for this job. just to point out one person

come on, we say the same thing every pre season about areas.. we said it last two years about the o line. well just wait till the regular season begins and we see what happens. the offense was horrid in pre season last year. everyone said kyle will unleash the hounds of hell come regular season time.. ok.. our moron dc is keeping things vanilla on purpose. we have went down that road so many times. the only reason the pass rush was average was due to elvis. we cut elvis. were told that other guys will take his place.. well after off season camps pre season practice and pre season games it just is not happening

the 2019 draft looks like the draft to do that, according to our resident draft nerds. Don't forget a possible trade also this year before the trade deadline.

it has to be either that trade you speak of or bring elvis back. there is no way this team can enter the year with this type of impotent pass rush,
