Am I the only one who doesn't think this was a good move? I mean he's a traitor, low class organizational move imo. Imagine Bill King calling a Giants game, or Miller with the A's.

Not my favorite TD call but the fact that they scored kind of balances it out. First time I heard it, I wondered if it was going to drag through the entire extra point.
I imagine Tim Ryan doesn't like it because it's time he can't be pontificating about the game,
As long as their scoring TD's and winning , I don't care if they play Slim Whitman yodeling through the play.

Just keep saying Touchdown and I don't give a crap about anything else. Play by play is to each their own. Some people like Ted(I personally didn't) some like Papa. I find Papa to have an exciting voice and although a bit of blowhard he's very knowledgeable. The fact he worked for the Raiders I could care less about. We're fans of laundry anyway.

If I had a choice I like TD 49erzzzz. I think he changed just to try and be different and appease the fans who hated he came from the Raiders. I don't care as long as he's saying SF/49ers. He says it with such verve. I like Papa and am happy they made the switch. Obviously some people prefer different.

Just got to get used to the San Francisco call.

It's definitely genuine.

My favorite line was this and it each even Papa..."Bye!" LOL

I love the energy he brings.

The other broadcasters give him ample space to stay out of his line of fire lol.
