I'm not a huge fan of Tim Ryan. He never played for the Niners. His NFL career lasted all of 3 seasons, and that was with the bears. This bothers me most because he followed Eric Davis and Gary Plummer. 2 standout Niners players. I feel like there should be an on field connection from our color guy. Relating situations with what he did in the whatever season where something like this happened, or whatever. He also could add just a tad if homerism to his style. Not that I want to hear a guy be unrealistic, but I something's feel he leans too much on the fair side instead of taking the 49ers side sometimes.

Tim Ryan is the ****ing worst. I agree about having no connection to the team. I don't see what he brings to the table.
First down Niiiiiiiiinnnnners....not sure if that works.

He said on Friday that he was going to try and check out the 49ers practice this weekend (if they let him in the building, he said lol). It was obvious he had a huge QB crush on Jimmy G last season. I imagine he'll let loose with that now, since the raiders were irked he wouldn't shut up about it last year. It'll be interesting to see if he gives the raiders he cold shoulder or if he still can't help his silver and black blood.

I think they're just being realistic. When the Niners sucked the last few seasons there wasn't really any reason for them to push to cover the them. The raiders had a good season 2 years ago, and since they were their flagship station it made sense to focus their broadcast on them. Now the 49ers are the sexy team and the raiders are in disarray with a new coach and an incomplete roster.

Sometimes Damon Bruce annoys me but what he said last year when the Niners beat the Jags was true. He said that due to their longevity in the Bay Area and history the 49ers and whoever plays quarterback will always be the top story in the Bay Area even with the Warriors dominance

Why hasn't Papa come out with some kind of statement following the Musberger hiring?

He did. Mark Davis is a petty mofo.

So happy for Ian Williams...dude had his career destroyed by J.R. Sleezy and rehabbed for years and will always have issues with that leg but remained a huge 49er fan.
