every team in this league is hoping their starters don't get hurt, the drop off from starter to back up is pretty massive at OL across the league man.

If they drafted a bunch of lineman you'd be complaining about not upgrading the WR spot

they have had three years to do something about this. you are also operating the hurt guys were actually good when they played esp in terms of pass protection. we have sucked at pass protection going back to 2011 when we had a bunch of all pros, well. i hope pain is something jimmy enjoys this year

Of the 32 teams in the NFL, how many actually have 3 quality tackles? What do you mean when they said they have had three years to do something about "this"? Tackle was considered a strength, so they DID do something about it. Unless you expect them to have four quality tackles on their roster. And if that is your expectation, which team of the 32 in the NFL you think has four tackles?

BTW, I'd be with you if it were a major injury on the interior OL. That's where I feel they have done little about knowing we didn't perform well there the last 2 seasons.

This loss hurts man. He was our only veteran backup OT.

Man, that didn't take long. 1st PS game and ...poof...gone. Altho, if a dislocated ankle, hopefully he is back by midseason.....but a lot of things would have t go right for us.

Googled dislocated ankle, 12 weeks recovery time. Bosa is lucky considering it was pretty much the same type of injury that happened to both guys.

Not even close to the same injury. Both involve not only different structures but are obviously different in severity as well.

There must be more than just an ankle dislocation. He would be able to come back week 12-ish if it was purely an ankle dislocation.

He was probably more pissed and disappointed with his mind fixated on the severity and timeline (keeping him off the field).

I'm pretty sure he felt that he was done for the year, but holding on to some hope

Then again, he was probably also thinking about kicking Toran's ass even tho it wasn't entirely his fault
Fractured fibula is much worse than the dislocation. Ouch.

Sure a s**t don't next yr (in the red as of now)...SF needs some of that cash (to roll over) to sign guys like Kittle and Buck.

Next year they can draft interior OL/S now that needs at most other positions have been addressed.
