Richburg better, because we just re did his contract a few months ago, and we can't get out from his deal like we could have before. He is basically guaranteed to be on the roster for 2020+2021, then if he is really bad, we could cut him before the 2022 season, and free up close to 7 million. So hopefully Richburg comes back healthy, and in a year or two we draft a Center to eventually take his spot.

Yep, you and I talked about that months ago.

I fully expect Brunskill to take the RG slot which takes a lot of the sting off not having a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Yes sir. That said, now they might be able to trade back at 13 and/or 31. Boom!

The 13 should bring quite a haul.

For example, if were were to trade back to #22, we would also get their 2nd and 3rd round picks this season, based on draft value.

As much as I would like those extra picks, if Jeudy is there at 13, run the card up there quickly.
What if some how Herbert is there at 13? Would he make sense to draft and sit behind Jimmy G this year, and then if Shanahan likes Herbert more, then we trade Jimmy G next off season for a bunch of picks, all the while freeing up TONS of money to keep our roster in tact going forward?

I'm perfectly OK with that.

Now that's bold.

Any word on this guy? Is he healthy and ready to go?

Oddly enough I feel like this may be a good thing for us. It would've been a tough call this year whether they keep him or Skule.

This way his deal rolls into next year when Trent Williams' availability is up in the air. We did ok without him last year...though hopefully unlike last year we won't need Skule or any other backup playing on the OL.
Forgot he was on the team not gonna lie

Justin Skule's roster spot to lose at swing tackle.
