#49ers had two swing tackles after Shon Coleman got hurt last year, Dan Brunskill and Justin Skule.

Matt also suggested Brunskill could compete for a starting RG position, and extending Coleman helps reinforce that. https://t.co/SvoLkYMOrS
Yep, you and I talked about that months ago.

I fully expect Brunskill to take the RG slot which takes a lot of the sting off not having a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Yes sir. That said, now they might be able to trade back at 13 and/or 31. Boom!

The 13 should bring quite a haul.
For example, if were were to trade back to #22, we would also get their 2nd and 3rd round picks this season, based on draft value.
As much as I would like those extra picks, if Jeudy is there at 13, run the card up there quickly.

I'm perfectly OK with that.

Now that's bold.

One more before the deadline: #49ers OL Shon Coleman opted out of the 2020 season, per source.

Oddly enough I feel like this may be a good thing for us. It would've been a tough call this year whether they keep him or Skule.
This way his deal rolls into next year when Trent Williams' availability is up in the air. We did ok without him last year...though hopefully unlike last year we won't need Skule or any other backup playing on the OL.

OT Shon Coleman was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia when he was 18. He joins WR Travis Benjamin in opting out for 2020, as @TomPelissero reported. #49ers
