One of the browns main strengths going into last year was their ol after some fa pickups. This guy might be good for us. Solid back up is what Im thinking atm.

Definitely not a windmill
When it comes to these nonamers from the past three years who were drafted...

MadDog! Where you at?

He's a very good run blocker.

Coleman isn't a no namer. He was one of the top tackle prospects in 2016.

I like the addition of Coleman for a 7th round pick. He has 2 years of cheap control left, so he can be our swing tackle this year and next for cheap. Gilliam is easily released after this season, because his 2019 salary is pretty much non guaranteed, so it's all savings :)
How long is Gilliam supposed to be out for right now? We could have 10 O-lineman make the 53, but only dress 8 or 9 on game days.

Get a 3rd rounder for a 7th round pick. That's value - I like.

Damn bros got jokes.
I doubt Gilliam gets cut this year, because we guaranteed 2+ million to him. Now if we trade him, we lose nothing, and save the 2+ million. Next years salary with him isn't guaranteed, so cutting him would cost us nothing then, but save us 5 million. Gilliam and Coleman probably just make the 53, but only 1 dresses on game days.

Yeah but Detroit is dumb, they probably enjoy the smell of their own farts.

Makes sense. We can't rely solely on Gilliam.
