I can only say this much: Given the way Detroit looked tonight and given that it is possible that Stafford will be too injured to play, if we lose this game, it's gonna be a LOOONNNGGG year.
That is all I have to say.
For now

Only way we lose this game is if Golden Tate goes for 250 in the slot. That's my only worry in this one. Sherman shuts down Galloday and their run game is non existent. I think Kyle forces the run at the start after seeing what the Jets did.
Hopefully we see Lee even if is able to suit up

This, someone is gonna have to have a career day for the lions to win. I just don't see how our offense doesn't put up 30 plus unless they wanna play like idiots again and leave plays on the field. Lions d is nothing near the Vikings, I'm confident but the football gods love playing with us so I'll be nervous.

I just hope our guys don't get complacent because of what they saw on TV.

We have no reason to be complacent, we haven't won s**t. It's not like we've won Super Bowls or consistently been in the playoffs. We're the ones who should be pissed off after the Vikings game and put up a 40 beat down on them. No way the Jets are a better offenseOriginally posted by Ensatsu:Originally posted by billbird2111:I can only say this much: Given the way Detroit looked tonight and given that it is possible that Stafford will be too injured to play, if we lose this game, it's gonna be a LOOONNNGGG year.

Oh man perfect bounce back opportunity here for Niners, with the Lions coming in licking their wounds with Matt Cassel as their QB.

Previous game seems to never predict the next, Lions won't look like trash this game.

Coyle will probably be out. We'll see.
Malcolm Smith. Probably can't count on him. He is probably just coasting for a paycheck.
Does Maclolm Smith even exist ¿

I've learned not to judge any team on the 1st game of the season. The good looking ones can be just as s**tty all year long, and the really bad looking ones could be a SB winner.

Lol--they didn't travel well to their own stadium last night--did you hear those J_E_T_S chants? It sounded like they were in NY

16 points? That's generous.
Jets put up 48 in Detoit, granted some defensive/ST scores.
