Saleh? How about Spoon? How about Adrian? How about Tartt, altho i don't recall him giving up a TD. Our DBs looked like they might never have been coached before on how to cover a receiver. HOly smokes!.

DL played well, lots of close calls, but only twice did we get thru.

And as for JImmy? Ye gads, all that money and i think it went to his head. Hear me out:

I think he got that enormous paycheck of. $40 mil and suddenly realized he WAS the FRanchise and he HAD to produce. I think he has put an immense pressure on himself not to be the old jimmy but the new one...one who beats teams by himself. Nope. Teams win as teams....and last yr is all gone. New yr, new way of looking at things. But it shouldn't be that he has to do everything.

What happened to getting a pass off at the last second? what happened to his pin point passing.? I think the contract and the "Being the franchise " got to him. I think he believes he has to do everything and cannot throw INTs. So he figures, refigures and takes a sack. What , 4? 5? Or was it more.

WE need the old jimmy. JimmyG spot. Where did he go? How do we get him back? Beca use this jimmy is aftraid of throwing an INT, is afraid if he doesn't make the play we lose. HE has suddenly taken on a mantle of responsibility that he didn't have last yr. Somehow he has to get back to that. And taking his money away....Nah, that wouldn't do it. How we do this...is anybody's guess. Buti it has to happen soon. No question the recever drops bother him. but he has to keep going and hope guys start catching balls. I think it wigs him out when a WR drops a pass.

We played totally opposite on defense of how we did last week late. We have to finish games strong. That was scary, but I'll take it. Chiefs are going to carve us up if we don't fix things. They might carve us up anyway..

A team never has a better week of practice than they do after getting a beatdown like what happened to the Lions. They came into this hungry and desperate.

You take the win and move on. I don't recall any player suffering an injury and we're getting Reuben back

KC is playing exceptionally well right now, just like last year at the beginning. Be realistic and don't expect a win, just be somewhat hopeful.

Maybe, some of that had to do with Matt Patricia' knowledge, of Jimmy' strengths and weaknesses

Didnt help him vs the jets, a team hes played twice per year for a long time

A lot of those sacks were coverage sacks. You can't just hold the football forever, no OL is going to hold up indefinitely. Those go on the QB. If nobody is open you've just got to get rid of it, or pull it down and run.

A case of the butthurt. That first touchdown wasn't injury related, Witherspoon just made a dumb mistake. It happens with young players. All you can do is hope that he learns from it and doesn't repeat it in the future.

The coverage from everyone not named Sherman was abysmal today. Stafford easily left 100+ more yards, and probably a couple of TDs on the field by not hitting recievers that had burned their man. Jimmy G is looking shaky out there...he does not look confident at all. I hate to say it, but he looked like Kaepernick sans the running ability.

Yea I agree...I was surprised that Jimmy couldn't find any escape routes either though.

Didn't get to see most of the game. I had my own football games to coach. I caught the game a few games before Jimmy G's would-be pick 6. I hear Matt Breida had a nice game. I'm wondering how the WR's played.
