To replace who?

Call Cleveland and offer whatever they want for Gordon. Either our receivers are trash and cant beat the coverage or Garoppolo is not who we thought he was. At this point Im more inclined to believe our receivers cant separate.

For a guy who is one failed drug test from being out of the league permanently?
And? If we trade for him hes on his rookie contract, what do we lose out on besides the pick? And i highly doubt that pick is going to be all that high. Better to keep trotting out these mediocre receivers?

I dont even blame Jimmy for most of those sacks (though he should have thrown the ball away). Whenever they showed the rest of the field, everyone was covered. No one was winning their matchup.

Didn't get to see most of the game. I had my own football games to coach. I caught the game a few games before Jimmy G's would-be pick 6. I hear Matt Breida had a nice game. I'm wondering how the WR's played.

0 separation
Brenda was great
Jimmy is taking sacks
Spoon was BAD
Tatt was BAD and got hurt
Mental errors again
My goodness

We gotta get some weapons at the WR spot.

We've needed them since Nolan
We traded Harold to the lions just in time to secure this win.

John Lynch playing 4 d chess.

Elija Lee. move Warner inside .play Reid outside Lb like they did last year.. problem solved.
Anyone think we can win next week?

Lee is going straight to the bench now that Foster is back. Foster will be the weakside, Warner will be the mike, Smith will back them both up when/if he's healthy.

Sure. Is it likely? Not really. Their defense has a ton of holes in it but that offense is unbelievably hot right now. They'll taper off eventually but I don't expect it to be next week. 49ers should be able to get at least 30 points again next week. Minus Berry, nothing about their secondary impresses me and it is a worse one than what Detroit trotted out today.

For a guy in JG's position, you do not offer whatever another team wants. A conditional pick is more of a fair offer.

We are in year 2 of a complete rebuild, not a team with a 38 year old FQB whose window is on the verge of closing. We need Goodwin back and we need to continue to develop our young talent.

If we can get JG on a fair deal, fine. But we do not need to be overly desperate.

The defense was pretty lousy and is going to lose us a lot of games.

No youre right. I was exaggerating a bit when I said whatever Cleveland wants. I just think its imperative we make a move for him. If the rumors are true, JGs issues are not related to a relapse. If thats the case, make a move for him. JG isnt going to halt anyones progress. We can continue to develop Pettis, Taylor, and even Richie James. I feel like Bourne is the odd man out and I really wouldnt fret over it.

I agree with jreff22. Is Spoon the same guy they're so high on? Coulda fooled me. Terrible game! And can anyone tackle besides Warner and Buckner? Is that the same guy at QB from last season? Took way too many sacks, got hugely lucky with that int. called back and again, missed open people. Has Kap come back to haunt us? The "promising" Kittle dropped yet another one. How in the hell did we win this game? Thank God for Breida and Buckner.
Maybe this was a reality check and illustrates just how far we need to go, and stifles the playoffs talk. Back to basics coach.
