Bates the Jets OC is a Mike Shanahan disciple. Dennison the OL coach/run game coordinator is a Kubiak and Mike Shanahan guy. Dorrell the WR coach worked under Mike Shanahan and Kyle had his first coaching gig under him at UCLA.

Detroit was one of the very worst defenses against the run last year. Minnesota was one of the very best. Somehow I don't expect that to change this season.
