That Coyle is hot garbage and we need more depth, even when Foster comes back.

Let's not forget Vikings were 7-1 at home

AND they are one of the top 4 teams in thhe NFL.

Not in any order] Saints, Vikings, Pats, Eagles are at, IMO, the top of the heap.

Greta learning lesson in so many areas.

This will make us a better team.

Based on how we played - we can definitely beat Lions.

Saints? Not a chance. They only have half a football team. Offensively, I'd agree with you. Defensively, they're horrible.

The dropped TD by Kittle killed everything. INT pick 6 was right after that. Would have been 10-10 instead of 17-3, and we probably win the game. That's not even counting Morris' fumble at the goal line.
This is how I see it. The Vikings played a very good game on both sides of the ball (4 turnovers, no picks on their end). We played a very bad game (3 picks, 1 goal line fumble, 2 missed touchdowns). Yet we still had a chance to come down and tie it at the end. On top of that, the Vikes are a super bowl caliber team. We will be fine.

It's quite clear that if this team stays healthy we're winning our division and have a shot at the Superbowl.
We wont be that undisciplined and that unlucky in many more games.
Gotta be optimistic.

+1 thought exactly the same
Our O line cannot move that viking D and we run power. Twice. Go figure...
But for the rest very good play calling

Morris fumbling 2x in a row on the 1 yard line is UNACCEPTABLE... i mean my god... you'd think he would have learned his lesson after the first fumble that he got back.

And don't call him Shirley 😂
Well done Marvin, as usual. On that 3rd INT, that was a "Toss" just before he got buried under the purple people eaters. He knew he was going to get crushed and I think threw the ball with no real target in sight. I don't blame him for that INT. Sure it counts, but he had no alternative but to eat it...at least he threw in the area where someone could have made a play. But it was a prayer, not a pass.

I agree with a lot of the points made, my summary:

1) A 9er team not yet ready for prime time, but on the way toward it

2) D took a big step up from last year, played well enough for us to win

3) A lot of unforced errors by the O, yet we were still in it to the last posession

4) Jimmy G has to be good with not being able to walk on water and quit forcing the ball to make things happen, just chill Jimmy and let the game come to you

5) Gold star for #47 Elijah Lee who stepped in at the end up the game and nutted up to answer the call

6) Pass pro flat out sucked at times, seemed like Jimmy G was holding on to the ball just a few clicks to long waiting for something to happen

7) Gold Star for #48 Freddie, looked at ease wearing the green dot, made a lot of tackles and played well

8) Kittle is not our long term answer at TE, just not a good enough athlete in the receiving game IMO

that is wrong on so many levels that I can't even think of anything to say. Kittle will probably end up being one of the top receivers on the team this year

If he can hold on to the ball.... and not get hurt.....

Tackling has been a league wide issue the past few years so I'm not sure why some on here keep harping on it. The players aren't allowed to touch one another in camp except for about 5 minutes so tackling is going to suffer. I didn't see more missed tackles yesterday then any other game I watched.

The defense played pretty good in my book. They contained the run game and did ok against the pass.
