Properly utilizing talent seems to be lacking
Thomas not playing inside enough, Armstead playing at all, Alfred Morris out wide are some examples

Crapping away opportunities to win with easily avoidable mistakes. Team should have a winning record right now.

So much bothers me lol. We're really not that good of a team and I feel bad for all of those who jumped on the fools gold.
Sucks being a season ticket holder! About done.
Embarrassing that we play guys out of position constantly.
Why and how is Mabin on an NFL roster and why does it have to be ours.
The consistent bad play is getting tiresome. At least it's an epidemic all across the league and not just us. But seriously so much poor quality play has been too consistent.
A lot of the fans at Levi's.... I'll just say this I miss the stick and that atmosphere. Levi's atmosphere sucks ass.

Draft average young player,
Player becomes above average player,
Don't resign player,
Draft replacement average young player
Eventually you gotta stick with some guys. They won't be stars but they can be actual NFL players.

For me, it's definitely Robert Saleh. I never liked the hire to begin with but figured, whatever, nothing else but to support the hire. I just don't like how the players don't know where to line up, mis-tackles and not putting his players into position to make a play or cause turnovers.
But as for Shanahan, I think it's his stubbornness to stick with the receivers he has when they've been decimated by injuries left and right. I understand not wanting to add a Nick Foles like QB after Jimmy G. went down, but dammit at least try and add more play makers around your QB.
And last but not least, John Lynch, I know his decision making hasn't been the best but for me he gets another off season to show me what he can add to this roster. Biggest gripe for me is Robert Saleh right now.

Haha....right. Just saying Raiders makes me feel better about this team. Mack is a stud and Cooper is solid too. As an Oakland Niner myself for almost 30 years, I guess I don't feel too bad for them.

For me, the team that I grew up watching which went into each game against nameless, faceless opponents has become a team that their opponents circle on their calendar as an easy game.
It's not the losing as much as the boring product they trot out onto the field.
Minnesott and KC? We put up a good fight for a young team.
Losing to Green Bay? No sweat, it came down to who had the ball last against a future hall of famer.
The Rams and Cardinal games? We couldn't get out of our own way. We self destructed, melted down on the field and were frankly an embarrassment.
Call it youth or inexperience all through the team, front office to players, they're boring now.
At least do the fundamentals right. Line up correctly, catch and/or hold onto the ball and make a tackle when it's right there.
Show that you belong on the field and that your opponent is going to have to give it everything they have to beat you

I have been alive since 1986, but only "paying attention" since 1995, the season after the last SB win. Thus, I have never been "involved" during a championship season. That's some context for my grievances...
I'm still so sad about the end of the Harbaugh/Smith/Kap era. That was so fun to watch - the culmination of the talent we assembled during some bad seasons in the years prior. It ended so fast and inexplicably. The transition from 2014 to 2015, with the regime change and the player exodus, was just heartbreaking. I was heartbroken about the 2011-2012-2013 season outcomes, but I was so proud of those teams and was so thrilled about being a fan for the first time since the early 2000s. I don't think I can ever forgive ownership for the premature end of that era.
I want the Shanalynch/Jimmy G era to work, but I just have a feeling it won't. Jimmy may never be elite, and he's losing time. Even if he's great, the offensive supporting cast and defense may never improve enough simultaneously to get us over the finish line. The injuries, the talent whiffs, the missing fundamentals - I just can't see the current trajectory as producing anything better than a first round playoff exit team, and even that is somewhat unlikely to me now. The Rams won't be able to keep all their talent together forever, but I just see at least 5ish years remaining in their shadow, and probably Russell Wilson's as well.
Last, I made a thread on this, but I feel like we went from a team of legends in the 80s/90s to a doormat for other legends. So many championship teams, elite QBs, amazing skill players, etc. have highlights and career-defining moments against us. You could say it's because the ball almost never breaks our way in clutch moments, but it's just our lack of game-changing talent compared to others. We can't make our own breaks.
It's harder and harder to keep doing this and never be "involved" in a championship season. I really have problems with NFL on the CTE issue and the awful way they threw Kap out of the league. I continually wonder if it's worth getting sad and pissed off the majority of Sundays in the fall.
