agree,, the gold rush was given to the 1976 front four that set a nfl record in a 14 game season for sacks at 61. it never should have been then given to cheerleaders. its a disgrace to cedrick hardman. tommy hart, cleveland elam and jimmy webb. i still remember the rams game on monday night football. 10 sacks. i wish alot of the young kids today could have seen that game. it was either a hold on the rams or a sack by us
I'm bothered by the fact that this team is the Rodney Dangerfield of football, they get no respect!

I like the cheerleaders as Golden Bushettes

Yeah juvenile. I don't care
I don't know, something about this thread irks me heading into the NFC Championship as favorites. It seems really nitpicky.

Yes. I'm not liking the time players have to take this week to do interviews. I wish the media would talk more about the cowboys right now

Cool that you remember that. 10 sacks, let's break that record on Sunday.

What bothers me is the season ticket holders who sell their tickets then only come to the playoff games....yeah those sneaky f**kers I cannot stand

I loled

Yeah I thought that all 49ers games were sold out every week but I was reading that wrestlemania had more attendence. I wonder why the seats arent filled every week. I'm not sure on the max capacity either.

I would think it's because they add seating on the field because the wrestle mania stage doesn't take up the whole field

the fans. illogical, whiney, and short-sighted.

This x 1000. Far to many fans want instant gratification, and see nothing wrong in firing and replacing the head coach and GM every year or two because they are to impatient to wait for the team to be properly rebuilt. This just keeps setting us back each time. Sorry kids, but that is just the way the world works....it takes time and long term vision to succeed. I love those fan's passion for our team, but they are sooooo unrealistic in their expectations.

we were right

a team that is not disciplined and fans who blame it all on youth and injuries. we either have a problem with the players we have or the coaches we have who teach the players or the scouts we have who scout the players who we get who are not very good. and some bone headed decisions made by lynch in keeping certain players and then boneheaded statements made by lynch and kyle to double down on keeping them. and for those fans talking about rebuilding correctly. you are assuming the team is rebuilding correctly. are they?

your debbie-downer pessimism for all those years, was wrong.

we weren't homers. we weren't optimists. we were realistic.

you should've listened to us...

I know that was many years back, but what did Alex Smith meant when he said the organization (49ers) were completely dysfunctional. Was he talking about the Nolan/McCloughan era or Harbaugh/Baalke era? The York family was in control and is still today, were they also involved to cause the dysfunction?

I respect Alex Smith and I don't think he would lie about this.

I think Jed was part of the dysfunction, but has learned and grown and hired competent people and stepped aside

I said this in the beginning and I will say it again: They need more experience at the top and in the coaching staff. It was a bad move to hire a first time GM and a first time HC. Peters has done an ok job but i think they could use more experience in that department.

Shanny's coaching staff is a bunch of who's whos. This coaching staff is rather pathetic. Every single defensive coach should be let go and most of his offensive coaches should do the same. The staff he has assembled here is straight up abysmal.

These quotes did not age well.

LOL boy, you were wrong on those assumptions

Not having more RINGS. We had legit teams and awesome individuals who deserved it, but never got em.

This is another SB type team, hopefully this year is different...

Agreed. This could finally be the time we get #6 .. I feel it in the air
