This x 1000. Far to many fans want instant gratification, and see nothing wrong in firing and replacing the head coach and GM every year or two because they are to impatient to wait for the team to be properly rebuilt. This just keeps setting us back each time. Sorry kids, but that is just the way the world works....it takes time and long term vision to succeed. I love those fan's passion for our team, but they are sooooo unrealistic in their expectations.

They have no sense of urgency and they seem to play without that killer instinct!

Too much class...not enough winning. Seriously though, quite a few fans overreacted to the 5 straight wins last year when Jimmy took over against teams that either weren't very good or were resting their studs for playoffs. Unrealistic expectations were stoked by the media and some of us bought into it too much. We're still a solid year from playoff contention and unfortunately injuries might have set it back one additional year. Need a solid draft this year or else it will be 3 years.

Or maybe the losing. It has been tough under the Yorks save a few short years under Harbaugh and before they ran off Mooch.

I don't know what you guys are talking about? I haven't read one post advocating KS to be fired? If not KS, then who are you referring to? Should we have kept Sing, Tomsula or maybe you had an affinity for Erickson? The only guy this board couldn't wait to get rid of was Harbaugh after his 8-8 season.

a team that is not disciplined and fans who blame it all on youth and injuries. we either have a problem with the players we have or the coaches we have who teach the players or the scouts we have who scout the players who we get who are not very good. and some bone headed decisions made by lynch in keeping certain players and then boneheaded statements made by lynch and kyle to double down on keeping them. and for those fans talking about rebuilding correctly. you are assuming the team is rebuilding correctly. are they?
