I have heard him on the post game ,and he says it how it is,I think he could bring some attitude and fundamental game skills to this secondary or even the defense in a whole

He probably could but then we would get blown in coverage all the time and penalized by nasty hits. Do we really want that?

Does he have any experience in the scheme the team is trying to run?

The problem with Whitner is he's an old-school type player...that kind of mentality could be problematic in today's offense-oriented game. The problem with our secondary is threefold: extremely inconsistent pass rush, inexperience and lack of overall talent. Witherspoon's a case in point...when he got his chance as a rookie he showed a lot of potential. He's backslid considerably his 2nd year...evidenced yet again vs the Giants. He had no chance covering Beckham...and just gave it up. That's not good enough. Lynch will need to sign a good young CB with some experience...then draft one of the best. With the right talent, Sherman can help coach them up. The lack of quality depth behind Tartt & Colbert has also shown repeatedly. It's overall a very young secondary and some of them will get better with experience, painful as it is. From all I've heard, Hafley's a well respected DB coach. He just needs some better talent to work with.

He's actually a good talking head on the sidelines. He probably doesn't want the stress / hours of being a coach.
Plus, you can't wear an ascot as a coach.

Would Hitner work under Saleh or just knock the stuffing out of him when he disagrees with a call?

I honestly think if we fired our defensive coaches And let Richard Sherman teach them during practice our defense would be much better
