What players have you met?

It's the bye week and I know the rest of this year is going to take forever at the rate we're going so I'll probably make a few threads.

My question is: what players have you seen in public or met in person and what were they like? I'll start.

1. Roger Craig: Shook his hand after I played against his son in pop warner. His son ran for like 400 yards lol.

2. Isaac Soapoaga: Met him at a football camp even signed a shirt for me that I still have. His arms were bigger than my torso back then really nice guy talked with him for about half an hour.

3 Mike Iupati: Met I'm in Hawaii in a gas station in the middle of nowhere got a picture with him but it was on a disposable camera so the image came out all black :(. Also a really nice guy didn't hesitate to take a picture.

4. Justin Smith: Missed my flight coming back from Atlanta to San Jose so I got a flight with a layover in Vegas. Got off the plane and saw Smith walk right by me. Too embarrassed to say hi but other people did so I didn't want to bother him. Guy was also massive.

5. Joe Williams: Ran into him in Santa Clara at a Jersey Mike's. Didn't say hi either as he was with his gf/wife.

I met Bubba Paris signing autographs at a Walmart when I was a kid. He said he'd give me one for free if I got a cup of ice for him. It was cool. Later in life I realized he drew an arrow pointing towards his dick in the signature. Maybe meant for my mom.

Delanie Walker signed a pic for me at some team event when he was a rookie. I said his name correctly and he reached over everyone else to sign mine first.
I saw bethel Thompson a couple of years ago. He actually recognized me since we actually grew up playing soccer. Dude was still chill and even invited me to a BBQ he was gonna have.
Joe Montana
Roger Craig
Ronnie Lott
Issac Soapoaga
Randy Cross

At least those are the ones I remember. I went to training camp and the Pro Bowl every year as a kid.
I'll let you guys know when I meet them.
Joe Montana
Jerry Rice
Brent Jones
Ken Norton
Steve Young
Steve Bono
Bunch of others I can't remember off the top of my head. We used to have our swim championships out at Sierra College, so they were always walking around through our team areas. All were pretty nice. Montana was actually a meet and greet my dad set up after I graduated 8th grade. Got a nice pic with him and then a signed painting of him. All framed in red and gold

Edit: thanks to GM for bringing this to my attention

Jack Reynolds - met him at Top of the Hill Daly City.
Ray Wershing - was shopping at Hillsdale Mall
Lester Hayes - was selling his Raiders memorabilia at Save Mart or Pak n Save in San Jose
Bill Cartwright - hanging around a relative's house near CCSF. I think his grandmother.
Kevin Johnson - at a Cal lunch in Sacramento

I met Sam Huff at a Supermarket opening, he was signing autographs. Walked alongside Bob Lanier at MSG. Biggest thrill was seeing Ali at the Lowes Paradise Theatre in Bronx NY when he was pushing the second Norton fight. He was so nice and gracious, his hands were huge.

My random encounters with Niners:
Roy Foster: was behind him in line at a convenience store near where they used to practice. Gave him a "what's up" and he acknowledged, but I wasn't sure it was him until I went home and looked up his photo in the team guide booklet I had. Guess that doesn't really count as meeting him.

Garrison Hearst at a Blockbuster Music in Milpitas: He was looking for music by himself. This is when people bought CDs. Small talk and got him to autograph a piece of paper and shook his hand.

Terrell Owens at a Target store: This is before he was a household name, might have been his second/third year in the league. He was literally jogging around the store looking for some Halloween stuff, had Halloween stuff in his hands. Said, "hey, you wear #81". Got him to autograph a dollar bill, but I spent it a long time ago.

Jerry Rice at F&A's (night lounge in San Jose): Jerry was wearing black leather pants like a mf'in pimp. I'll always remember that. No normal man can pull off wearing black leather pants. He was there with 2-3 buddies, but I had to talk to him. No way I see JR and not say something. Came up to him and said I was a big Niners fan. He said something like "Alright, cool." Shook his hand and told him have a good night. Went back to my buddies then realized he was on the Raiders at the time. Oh well. That was the most starstruck I've ever been in my life.
Kaepernick's parents at GB lol
Me and my twin brother have hung out with Tony Parish a few times at the bars in orange county. He loves white girls with booty and at the time he was digging my girlfriend a lot so I was joking with him telling him she can have a pass to hook up with him.

He is really down to earth, he bought us drinks and we even hit up some girls together so he's really just one of the guys. I took a picture with him and his arms are dam huge. I was telling him how much respect all of us have for him as a player especially when he was playing with a cast getting ints. He was laughing saying of course a broken arm wasn't keeping him out of any game
