Nothing wrong with keeping a key assistant from breaking his contract.
Garoppolo has been effusive in his praise for Scangarello in helping him learn the system. Mullens has also benefitted from RS as well.
Given what a mess that Denver organization is right now, it would be a stretch to say it would be a promotion.
Further, we don't know if Scangarello was even interested. All we know is Denver was interested...and Kyle said, "don't bother us."
