I remember the story earlier in the season (may have been last yr) about Shanny giving him a job a while back to help scout and slowly he's been earning Shanny's trust, and in turn Shanny giving him more responsibility. Basically Shanny giving him a bone since he F'd his life up and football is all he's got.
Kocurek def messed up with his drug abuse, but damn! He's putting in 200% to get a coaching job back. Kudos to him for fighting his demons

Coach Kocurek is doing a wonderful job with the DLine. Hopefully, he can mold these young d-linemen into sustained success over the course of the next 5 years or so. That's the great Bryant Young young folks, he was something special.

If there is someone that Shanahan can't lose is this guy right here. If they have to increase his pay in order to keep him then do it in a heartbeat.
This the deepest and most productive group. No matter who they plug in they're productive. Even the 3rd and 4th stringers make plays and shine on occasions.
