Bobby Turner has been there since day 1 in Denver with Mike Shanahan and Alex Gibbs.

Preach brother. I like what Kocurek has done with the DL but how dare anyone disrespect the OG Bobby Turner. This guy has helped mold Pro Bowl and HOF backs, and most started off as unknowns or less heralded than others. Turner is the best position coach in all of the NFL and has been for years.

Glad to have them both.

He wasn't. He was in Denver with Mike Shanahan and Alex Gibbs. Then he went with Mike to WAS, went with Kyle to ATL, and then finally here to SF. OG Bobby Turner is the GOAT RB coach.
He seems like a great man in addition to coach. It's no surprise the guys love him.

So, like I said. Glad to have a GOAT. But, the Shanahans' system is great in it of itself.

Yes and that man can coach from a nursing home now too now that he's learned how to use Zoom.

If the 49ers bring in a DC from the outside, there's a good chance Kocurek is gone. We've talked about it before, but nobody in the league besides Jim Schwartz runs a base wide 9.
