He needs to hit the books so he can hit the backers.

I'm sure his head is noodles right now trying to grasp Kyle's offense. Kyle was asked straight off whether Deebo or a rookie WR could be can be all world in his 1st year. Kyle pretty much said it's possible that he can, but not likely, and he doesn't expect him to be.

I think he can be effective. Making plays here and there. Anything more is gravy.

I'm guessing he'll be a lot like Pettis was last year. Pettis started slowly but came on at the end of the year. I could see the same thing happening with Deebo. It can take a little longer to understand the complex offense that Kyle runs but then the light comes on.
I'm sure he's still in the introduction stage..

... or maybe, the guy is just a slow learner..

Those FIGHTING COCKS!!!

GO NINERSSSSS !!!!

Meh, it's practice. Coaches usually stage situations where one side has the advantage to see how the other side reacts. I'm sure the days when the D dominated, the offense was focusing on more basic stuff to see if they can handle Defensive surprises and vice versa.

Seesaw success in practices rarely impressed me. Same thing with the practices against Denver. The coaches stage situations. Preseason games are similar as well.

In preseason, I'm not looking for success, I'm looking to see which players athletically or football IQ-wise pop out more than other players. The vets usually don't because they are practicing things they are weak on.
Here comes Deebo... Hide ya Db's

During 11-on-11 work, Deebo Samuel took an end around from Nick Mullens for a 60-yard touchdown. The receiver cut back and found an open lane through the secondary for the score.
Hell yes. Seems like he's coming on
