LOL at the pants**tters who said he was gone or turned on him.

Saw this ending coming all along.

Wasnt hard. He's been a good player.

I feel like those who turned on him will regret it, those who sent death threats, and all that s**t, just ridiculous, so happy for Deebo, he deserves this.

That's what happens when you draft well…you stress out about losing those guys

Especially if you buy into a false moneyball narrative.

Kittle check
Warner check
Trent check
Deebo check

Bosa in 23 then Aiyuk in 24 then Trey if things go like we hope.

Yep, no moneyball here, sure Paraag is a cheap b*****d at times, hard negotiator, but he's the best in the business.

Now Deebo is highest paid player on 49ers, once Jimmy is gone.

Moneyball lol. Yet they keep bringing their stars back.

I know lol, they keep re-signing their stars to huge deals, and Bosa is next in 2023, then Aiyuk in 2024.
after all the drama this contract feels anticlimactic, which is great for everybody. Now it's time for Deebo to dominate!
These 3 years deals are the theme now for WR. Great for Deebo, DK and Terry who will get another shot for a big contract before hitting the 30s.

Can chickensh*ttles eat crow? Or is that Cohnabalism?
Good deal with good money, he deserved it. Glad thats all over with
The only way we should have traded him is if someone gave us an absolutely bonkers deal and that never happened. I'm glad that we're able to keep the core of this offensive group (Trey, Kittle, Deebo, Aiyuk, and Williams) together for at least the next 3 years.

If one of these RBs separate themselves things will begin to get scary.

I believe Charvarious Ward's deal is similar.
It's great that they got him signed and all, nice to be done with that distraction, but three years doesn't seem like a very long time. I haven't really paid attention to the deals that other receivers have gotten so don't know if that has become the new model.

It seems to me that if he is just signed through 2025 then come 2024 we'll just be doing this same dance all over again. Perhaps AB81 can enlighten me as to how that works.

Yep, plus our defense is nasty, especially if Drake Jackson turns into that speedy EDGE opposite Nick that we hope he does, plus having Warner signed long term, then adding Ward at CB, hopefully they look into keeping Jimmie Ward on a new deal, but we have our core signed for at least 3 yrs, Trey, Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle, Trent, Juice, Warner, Armstead, C.Ward, then Bosa will be next year, plus all the young talent we have on rookie deals.

If Deebo stays healthy, and plays well, by the time 2024 comes around, I think an extension for Deebo will happen, but yes we could be here again, but that's the NFL, contracts, business side of the game. Imagine if Trey breaks out, turns into even half of Mahomes, he's going to be among those $45M+ a yr QBs.
