my response is to all of your crying at the time about how this offense would pretty much fall apart without deebo.. i gave you a great example how BA and Jennings and grabbing another WR in the draft (if Deebo was traded)

We wanted Aiyuk much earlier in the draft than we wanted Deebo,.....and did you not catch just how excited Kyle was about the prospect of getting Aiyuk? Lynch had to calm him down.

You can't view every issue through a tunnel. Per Kyle, Aiyuk has the potential to be pretty damn good.

would be funny if i was s**tting on something, but i'm not.

woo is acting like you in the OL thread, he and it looks like you think the offense will be awful if deebo is gone. in this debate, i said while you can never replace a deebo. but if he's traded, I feel Aiyuk, Jennings and a high drafted WR with some more RBs would keep us going.

Yeah it was crazy in here. We were all emotionally spitballing but most of us concluded it had to be money.

California and it's taxes? Well I live in NYC and we're a close second so I assume it sucks and Deebo is being bent over like all of us living in California or NY lol I wonder what he'll actually clear after paying everyone and taxes etc. it'll probably make us puke.

I thought it was extremely obvious it was him motioning to cut it out . Like he didn't want to deal with football and just have fun.

If i was Deebo and was satisfied with the deal, I'd stick with the agent. The agents job is to get Deebo the best deal he can. He has to show Deebo *the 💰" and I think he did. The best agents are usually 🤬🤬🤬 to their employers teams. The GM and the Coach just have to understand that, not make it personal, and deal with it maturely

If anything Deebo better take care of his agent because in the end, Deebo got PAID and thats the real bottom line.

Also, I just read an article that said AJ Brown did request a trade when the Titans didn't meet his demands on his new contract. So yeah, the root of Deebo's trade demand was likely just at the advice of his agent. Deebo certainly seems happy now as we all are!

The Franchise Tag equalizes the 49er trade/contract leverage with Deebo's agent - so Deebo can ask for the moon, and ShanaLynch will just franchise tag Deebo. Nothing he can do at that point, and his agent can't do anything about that either - so the deal was going to get done. One way or the other. 49ers have been very good at paying at or above market value for players they like. So there is a reputation they already have in the General NFL about paying their players fairly and sometimes above fairly. I applaud them for being mature and steadfast in keeping things on target. Not easy to do with such a talented and unique player like Deebo.

Agree. There were a lot of new people at the front office too. They lost Ran Carthon. I think they promoted Brian Hampton and he lowballed Deebo and so that was a disaster. (I have no evidence, just my opinion).

Owner was trying to bring him more bottles and he said no.

Everything about him being "unhappy" or "wanting to play on the East coast" was all fake or part of negotiations, no reason for fans to overthink it was anymore than that. Frank Gore once walked out of a meeting when negotiating a new contract with the Niners. It's all part of the business
