I'll be honest, and I'll post this here so not so many people see it and hold me too accountable when/if I'm wrong….
I think we lose three games, at most, the rest of the season. A players meeting, maybe a loss to the rams for a final reality check…. The entire team has been underperforming in one way or another all season. It won't last, we're going to get momentum (and healthy) at the right time.

Why is he running lazy routes? When he's not one of the main target for the play ...
Is it one of those things like....he thinks he's Lebron James and carrying the team and just wants to chill out to conserve energy?

I sure would hate to think it's the big contract. But, I've seen it a bunch on tape. Really frustrating to watch. There's a weird vibe on this team right now and it needs to change.
Some of it is the awkwardness of the Garoppolo situation. I get it, they didn't want Jimmy around when handing the keys to Trey. It's weird for a team to react to Trey as THE leader when the guy who was that guy for 4 seasons is there in the room. It's just human nature to look to the guy you're familiar with. So, Jimmy wasn't even around the team meetings and they thought he'd get traded when he got back healthy.
Now, you have the awkwardness and trying to put things back together with a QB who had zero off-season and joined the team right before week 1. I just wonder, who's the leader on the team to step up and challenge everyone to lock in. If Deebo's not executing well, what player is gonna hold him accountable? Jimmy is just getting back in to the building, essentially, so I doubt he has the right to do it. Kittle? He's complaining about the guys not getting the ball in their hands even though the team is 2nd in the league in drops.
To me, it's big Trent but is that his personality?
If this was 2019 you know Sherman would be a guy doing that. Is Fred Warner or Bosa being that for the defense?

The way Warner was dogging BA this off-season, you'd think he'd had to assume a leadership role.
On offfense, who knows? We need a brady-yelling-at-everyone moment
