Fred Taylor called Rice's comment preposterous and he's absolutely right

We all see JR sippin' during the games. No doubt that s**t hit before he made his comment.

And it doesn't look like wine he is drinking. Looks like whiskey or bourbon.

There's no damn way I could sit in a hot a** stadium in a suit drinking bourbon. Unless there's ice in it.

Is he? You're talking about a guy who played 20 years and barely missed a game. I think he knows what hits should be avoided.

The man is in the mix for the Greatest of all time regardless of position. He doesn't sound off every chance he gets. Whatever side he takes I'm on that side.

Who also had his knee shredded running a reverse against Tampa Bay.

Pat McAfee brought up a good point. If this had happened on a turf field, RIP Deebo's ankle and knees.

IIRC, the only two times I've seen Jerry Rice injured was when he got blasted on a hit by Steve At**ter (over the middle?), presumably on a helmet-to-helmet shot, and when he got horse-collared by Warren Sapp on a reverse. Looking at the replay of that, Warren Sapp was completely unblocked by the left tackle and just destroyed Jerry.

does Jerry know what he's talking bout? because it was an outside run that Deebo cut back inside. Fred Taylor is HoF semifinalist. he was a beast too. not a GOAT like Jerry but still one of the better RBs that's played in the NFL.
Outside run or not, it was a bad play call, and Kyle deserves to be criticized for it.

I thought it was a good play call with an unfortunate ending.

I 1000% do not understand how anyone can blame an injury on play calling... Deebo is paid to be used in this offense the way he always has. What they need to do is TEACH these guys to go down when there are 3-4 guys tackling you. GK85 doesnt get that concept, DS19 doesnt get that concept, BA11 doesnt get that concept (hasnt cost him an injury just turnovers)... Gaining another 1/2 yard when you have the 1st down already is what is not necessary. GO DOWN

no it wasn't. you put the ball in your superstars' hands. no one was crying when Deebo ran outside for the TD earlier in the game.
