Tough decisions need to be made in the off-season, he is one. I think we can let him go.

Deebo has never been particularly good at beating man coverage, particularly downfield or in contested catches. The mistake was trying to force feed him in situations where he doesn't excel. He feasts on zone where we can scheme him open and just get the ball in his hands to let him work.

this game needed more Aiyuk and Jennings (and if healthy, Kittle) to beat the man coverage.

Or, you know, just run the ball vs. a tired defense that had little-to-no D-line depth...
Complete no show. I get he was hurt but he was virtually useless out there.
Shoulder fracture and some knee stuff.

Maybe don't get into pre game fights during the regular season huh?

Time to draft a deebo clone in the 2nd.

Just keep ignoring the O-line huh? I have no interest in a backup on day 1 or 2. 49ers should be thinking starters with those first 4 picks.

This is what I did not get. They had Deebo running routes against two of the best CBs in the business. Not his game at all. Those playcalls would've required perfect execution to get anything out of them. The risk just wasn't worth the reward.
They held Deebo, Aiyuck and Kittle to under 100 yards combined.

Sad...
Flip him for draft capital to build an OL.
He's starting to get overrated

When is he not hurt? He goes out of the game in every game lol

And he'll start being overpaid here shortly too. Not a good combination. I'd definitely consider trading him while we could still get something decent in return
I'm over this guy. He just came in the league a few years ago. He's body is like 45 years old. He's all beat up and torn up. Shoulders, knees, hamstring, just everything. He misses games every single year. He's worn out by the end of the year and rarely healthy in the playoffs. You can't help your team if you can't play. Or can't play 100% healthy. He plays too hard for his own good and knocks himself right out of playing. Plus he doesn't run super great routes. Aiyuk is a better WR. Deebo is more of a slash and RB type playing WR.

Trade him for a 1st and a 3rd. You won't get two 1st's anymore for him. 1 & 3 and I deal him. We deal up and down in the draft and land some offensive line help and another WR.
He had a td but the o line couldn't give purdy the time to hit him.

he looked tired and then the hammy.

Should have offloaded him to the Jets.

Cant run routes and beat man against above averages corners. What's the point?

Actually kind of sad that Jauan ended up being more reliable even though he's slow

Durability is always going to be an issue with him.
