Deebo has never been particularly good at beating man coverage, particularly downfield or in contested catches. The mistake was trying to force feed him in situations where he doesn't excel. He feasts on zone where we can scheme him open and just get the ball in his hands to let him work.
this game needed more Aiyuk and Jennings (and if healthy, Kittle) to beat the man coverage.
Or, you know, just run the ball vs. a tired defense that had little-to-no D-line depth...
