Regarding Deebo's effort, there's some eye brow raising from the tape, but I don't believe he was anywhere near 100% recently and that's probably the main reason. He is usually our driving force and once of my favorite players so I don't think that just changes overnight. O that cross pass he dropped he looked stiff to me which indicates injury.

That being said availability is the best ability. If he cannot have a healthy productive season next year I would understand changes being on the horizon.
I think it's time to part ways with Deebo. Brock needs a more traditional WR. Someone who can catch regularly.

Definitely rather trade him and keep Aiyuk.

JTO exposing Deebo on the QB school

Route running and beating man coverage has never been Deebo since college, he isn't exposing anything new

What about effort or playing hard in the SB?

I think the entire offense lacks heart.

Deebo is great especially if you don't have a good QB and have to adjust an offense. Now we have a good QB who might be better served with WRs that can run routes, especially timing routes where he gets rid of the ball where the WR hasn't even made his break yet. We have 1 and I think we should probably be parting ways with Deebo after next season and go more traditional.
The injuries are starting to pile up on him.

Front Office needs to think this through.

Aiyuk seems to be very healthy -

I feel the FO will keep DeeBo and trade Aiyuk - Not what I'd do but what they'd do.

His role was also much more important before we got an elite receiving RB in McCaffrey
Need to draft a receiver and probably future TE too. Availability is better than ability.
I don't think we can even trade him with his contract. (Trying to find someone to trade for and also too much dead cap) Luckily his contract isn't very long and has just 2 years left.

may be hard to trade him now, BUT this is why we shoulda traded him a year ago...

now, we got no leverage on Deevah !!

We have an out with a limited cap hit after next season.

This. Honestly, even with full health, I can't see Deebo producing at his 2021 levels, and I can live with that. Just need to shift the focus. He's got a crazy cap number which we will have to deal with for a year, then perhaps we can either extend him to a number that is more reflective of his likely level of production (800 to 1200 yards combined) a year. I think Deebo can still make big plays as well as plays when there are none to be made, but I can't see our offense being on schedule given the injuries and likelihood that he produces at an All-Pro level.

I'm definitely not on the trade Deebo train, as he brings something intangible to the team and is the only player on offense besides McCaffrey that has demonstrated multiples times that he can produce in some big moments, Super Bowl notwithstanding, but I'd rather he and Aiyuk trade places in terms of their roles in the offense. Considering the way teams play us, opting to take away the run game and Deebo first, he'd make a great decoy for what we could and should do going forward.

I'm not so sure what Deebo would like in terms of a 3rd contract, but whether it's with us or another team, it would be best that he isn't option no, 2 given how banged up he gets.
I would do Everything in my power to move dbo this off season. He can not separate from man coverage. He's not worth the money we're about to unload on him. We need a traditional wr. 6-3, 220 pounds, can run the route tree.

OVER and over, I've posted that Deevah is not a WR.. he never was and will never be.. what he is a very very good GADGET like Percy Harvin.. Shanny sold it to his Shannanygans that Deevah was a great route runner during the Sr Bowl and all Kyle followers just made him an instant ALL PRO..
Deebo is a good WR...very good. His value is in his flexibility and ability to run. This meant a LOT more to our team before we added CMC.
