I thought it would cost him also, but after looking into it you only have to buy the jerseys if you want to change numbers immediately. If you give a year notice so they can sell stock you don't have to pay. He mentioned last year he wanted to change.

Without Deebo it's hand it to 15 in a playoff game, see what happens

Going to be in the minority but I'd be willing to listen to all trade offers with some intent to move on. Deebo's great, but a huge overlap with CMC. When you don't have a QB, Deebo is insanely valuable. He would help someone like Fields or Pickett so much. But if your QB is accurate down the field, you find Deebo averaging 750 yards a season but getting paid like AJ Brown who is putting up twice that. Rather free up the cap space, get a legit WR2, roster a guy like Rondale Moore or Curtis Samuel that can run some of the same gadget plays and still have millions to spend at another position.
