RUMOR CIRCULATING: The Baltimore #Ravens reached out to the San Francisco #49ers to inquire about the availability of WR Deebo Samuel AND THE #NINERS SAID "NO." pic.twitter.com/ymwWlUGjU5

Doesn't even make sense for other teams to ask.
He is a very versatile player and a big weapon for any that prioritizes running.

Going to be in the minority but I'd be willing to listen to all trade offers with some intent to move on. Deebo's great, but a huge overlap with CMC. When you don't have a QB, Deebo is insanely valuable. He would help someone like Fields or Pickett so much. But if your QB is accurate down the field, you find Deebo averaging 750 yards a season but getting paid like AJ Brown who is putting up twice that. Rather free up the cap space, get a legit WR2, roster a guy like Rondale Moore or Curtis Samuel that can run some of the same gadget plays and still have millions to spend at another position.
No, I agree. I like Deebo and he is a huge part of the team. It seems like they need to pick between the two wr this year or next. Aiyuk fits better with Purdy.
We really had trouble with teams the played tight man on the outside. Part of the issue was the poor OL and part that Deebo isn't a top route runner to get open and be a threat.
He also plays so physical and gets beat up.
Get rid of him while he has value. I expected more next year but I wouldn't be surprised if it's this year if the right offer came along. People don't like to hear it but we saw it happen with Armstread already.
Yes. Someone like Samuel can take his role at a cheaper price. Deebo's big contract is also an issue

Trading him before June 1 gives us a 22 million cap hit. Makes no sense. Trading him after only gives us a 7 million cap hit. That means if we trade him after June 1, we don't get anything in return at least for this year's draft, but maybe Lynch pulls the trigger for a player swap plus some future draft picks…

Looking at the Ridley contract, 20 million + is the going rate for a receiver that can get 1000 yards. The Deebo deal is on par.
Deebo's cap hit is 28m and he signed a while back
in fact if one looks at WR cap hits, Deebo is 4th WR in the NFL

I am not talking about cap hits. You can't go off of that. Cap hits can vary from year to year. Structure of the contract, actual restructures, void years, etc play a role. Looking at his APY, it's on par with receivers that have 1k yards on their second/third contract.
Armstead had s cap hit of 25 million +, but early in his deal, the number was around 10 million.

The problem is he played 10x better in the walk year. That's an issue. Look at the SB he got worked all game. You expect a guy taking up 10% of your cap to carry some weight, Conley could have had the SB Deebo did. So we ain't getting our monies worth. He's a RB at WR. He doesn't get open. Or run routes. We got played. Shanny fell in love with the positionless aspect and how hard he can finish plays when he feels like it. I ain't saying he's a bad player, he's just not a #1 WR, that's been exposed. Yet he's paid like one. I say we run the heck out of him, that's when he's at his best, runs and screens.

Exactly what I'd do. If none of the top corners or OTs are available at 31 I'm going WR. If I kept Deebo he'd be my full time punt returner and essentially my RB2.
