i don't know the turn of events but surprised he would dress and play with this. why didn't they intervene?

Good point. Don't their docs have a stethoscope?

Yes he gave it a shot. My thought is how the heck did team doctors not pick up on this until now to the point he's in the hospital.

That's a good point. Dysfunctional team

Damn, people tried to act like he had a stomach ache

Bunch of sickeningly disrespectful clowns. You really have to be a low class person to have said some of the stuff we've heard in the past 24 hours.
lol.. you guys act like Deebo was crawling into work and no one noticed

Please let him be ok. Football aside, dude went out and tried to play with fluid in his lungs, can't question his heart. Heart of a lion, wishing him the very best and sending nothing but love his way.

My first try at the corrections academy I got pneumonia literally overnight. Hit my rack at 2130 and could barely roll over and fall out of bed face first on the floor at 0500. Had to have my lungs drained and spent the next 2 weeks trashed on codeine cough syrup
Awful man. Pneumonia is serious business. Get well soon; some things are more important than football.
It's wild one thread we have people sending prayers for Deebo with pneumonia (he will be fine). In the BA thread folks are saying some real nasty stuff with a guy that's got some serious knee damage.

our fans can be real a*****es. Last I check they both play for SF
Yet another guy. Our team is like a hospital ward.

Pneumonia is no joke. I'm not sure where the rumor that it was a stomach bug even started, but it was pretty obvious when he was taking oxygen that this wasn't food poisoning or anything like that. Rest up, Deebo.

To add, some were describing it as a tummy ache yesterday. There are some sick, miserable posters here.

Hell, last I checked they're people first before being 49ers.

it can start as a illness or i feel ill, then you start gathering the fluid in the lungs and you get short on breath.
damn, get well soon deebo. you are the heart an soul of this team. his absence yesterday was a huge reason our offense was a s**t show

I had pneumonia in one lung back in 2006. I went to the doctors and was told it was just a cold but when the fever got up to 103 I went back. That's when they did a more thorough exam and found it was pneumonia. It took me about 6 weeks or more to completely regain my strength. Of course I wasn't in as goos=d of shape as Deebo but it can really knock you on your butt. I don't know how he was even able to warm up and try to play.

Hopefully it's viral pneumonia and not bacterial. That can be way more serious.

Oh damn….. Pneumonia sucks! I had it when I was in the military. I was in tip topped shape and it took me a couple of weeks to get back in shape. Even walking for a few yards the first couple of days wore me out like you just did an Ironman. It's no joke.
