It doesn't really matter what the fans or talking heads think. All that matters is how it sits with the players. Apparently they consider it a closed issue. They have a game to win next week which is more important than if someone's feeling were hurt.

Deebo shouldn't apologize for s**t if he just said "lock in." I completely agree with Sherman here.
Richard Sherman on the Deebo Samuel - Taybor Pepper altercation:
— Coach Yac 🗣 (@Coach_Yac) November 11, 2024
"When Deebo Samuel goes up to him and says 'lock in', you don't defend him [Moody] from that. You don't get to defend him from accountability from the team. If I give up a touchdown pass and one of my teammates say… pic.twitter.com/QYBwwolvw9

Hopefully Deebo woke him up. Because Moody is not too far away from being out of a job.

There's only a few players that impact the team enough and have played well enough that deserve to call other players out. If your names not Warner, kittle, or purdy keep your stuff to yourself.
Nobody else has earned it on the team or has enough impact in the game that they should open their mouths...
Deebo is not Justin jefferson so he should stay in his lane and worry about trying to improve his 2.9 ypc average or get to 1000 receiving yards. Neither of which are good this year.
The f**k?
If Deebo doesn't have enough clout on the team, then who does?
Somebody who is actually playing up to their contracts worth...
I already gave you the three who have the right to call people out this year.
Sure deebo 3 years ago could call people out when your the entire offense. Deebo this year is 25 million wasted and should be a 4th string receiver based on production and out of the NFL based on his ypc as a rb.
You can't call people out if you suck too...

Deebo is the heart and soul of the team. Has been a core piece since day 1 of his rookie year in '19. He has every right to call someone out.
Yes, his production isn't what it used to be but he's not a total zero.

I don't think Moody took as much offense as Pepper did. Moody doesn't need Pepper acting like his bodyguard.

Since when does Deebo suck? Just because the reverses and run plays are not working? He's still having a decently productive season and made a few big catches over the middle in this one as well.

This, seriously how people forget and it's not like he didn't make some plays yesterday.

Pepper was stepping up for his guy. It's not all that different than an OL stepping in for his QB. If Purdy threw a bad pick and a defensive guy went up to him telling him to lock in with the vibe Deebo had I could easily see one of the OL doing what Pepper did.

Yup. He wears a C on his chest for a reason. If a Captain tells you to lock in, time to lock in.
Now in Moody's defense, he didn't seem to have an issue with it. It was that clown Pepper inserting himself into something that wasn't his business.

How do you know "the vibe" with how Deebo went up to him with? lol.
Anyway, the 49ers won in spite of a terrible performance from the special teams unit (and HC in regards to clock management).
