Pearsall can actually take a slant to the house and has shown he's good. Kittle can run guys over and is a mismatch and has good hands. CMC I'm going out on a limb here and assuming he's as good as he was after the injury, which may not be true. But CMC has enough wiggle and burst to break a tackle or juke to the endzone. His hands are also good.

Jennings is a size mismatch and has good hands. He doesnt have the speed to take it to the house though. He's still a height mismatch which makes him open even when he's covered.

Cowing is extremely quick which likely means he can also take a slant to the house and get yardage on a jet sweep.

Now we come to deebo of 2024. Deebos hands are bad. He rarely comes down with contested catches of any difficulty. I expect one drop a game where a wr1 would have caught it but deebo dropped it. Maybe not a marked pff drop but an NFL catchable ball he drops. He gets jammed at the line so easy and never gets free except via scheme.

He also cannot break tackles like he used to and is slow vs fast NFL receivers...

This means he offers no mismatch and no upside.

Watch the film. Every so often he has a game but it's usually one good game for 4 games of mediocrity. His reps are better off to any of the above guys listed...

Deebo is playing through injury and recovering from pneumonia and is still braking off a couple of big plays a game.

Yeah Pearsall is better than CMC and Kittle. Ffs overreaction from one game
I love all these sports show Talking Heads ragging on Deebo for what he did, as if none of them ever did anything like that in their playing career. Stupid hypocritical d-heads.
DEEVAHHH !!!
Nothing burger boys.

Shanahans offense has a bunch of long developing scheme plays. Kittle isn't the same as he was 5 years ago he's on the backend of his career. Same with CMC. You don't want to ride them to a SB victory.

Both their bodies likely can't take it and shanahans offense can't really be built to give CMC 35 touches a game.

You probably can't give kittle more than 8 looks a game. That leaves Jennings and pearsall who you could ride for 10+ looks a game. I would ride pearsall because he's a bigger threat to take a shorter play deep.

Pearsall and cowing could be exceptionally good. We don't know what either of their ceilings is.

Just don't give deebo many looks. Let him run his 3 best plays a game. The rest of the time id have Jennings, cowing, and pearsall out there. You can also put CMC in the slot.

Make sure bell never sees the field.

Shanny's offense isn't long developing plays, history and film has shown this already

the rest just doesn't add up to what you are saying.
I love Deebo however in my 30+ years of watching football I've never seen such a quick falloff from an elite player.
IMHO he's out of shape and has lost the hunger for contact that made him who he was. I imagine he's tired of hurting which I 100% understand. I will not be shocked if he's gone next year or sees a major reduction in role.

Sherm gets it.

So does Shanahan. According to a N Wagoner tweet > " a little bit of an overreaction by Pepper"
Deebo need to go tell our whole Special Teams to lock in
I've seen Deebo dropping passes left and right.
I've seen Deebo out of shape a lot.
I've seen Deebo catching 3 passes in 11 targets in the biggest game of his life.
I've seen Deebo saying that he wasn't running full speed because he didn't think he was getting the ball.

If someone should be hold accountable is him because he has been a shelf of himself since he got the bag.

Btw Moody is garbage and we should have got rid of him after the SB.

Honestly the post game interview was more concerning than the actual fight. Deebo seemed like he couldn't care less and like he did nothing wrong at all. He acts like Moody will just have to get over it and didn't even mention Pepper. Dude is toxic and isn't elite anymore. Seems like more trouble than he's worth.

It seems Pepper escalated this situation when he didn't need to.
