Have you seen his runs? There are no holes for him to run into. Hence he is routinely run out of bounds. Deebo might have lost a step but i think the NFL has caught on to Kyle's offense especially the designed runs for Deebo. They aren't fooled by all the mis-directions anymore.

They definitely see the Deebo sweeps coming and are ready for them. The blocking has not been great on sweeps and end arounds. I think the NFL has caught up to Kyle in a lot of ways. He's not innovative anymore. He's been found out.

I agree the blocking sucks, but Deebo can't separate to save his life right now.
My boy doesn't even run through a motherf**ker's face anymore. I never expected him to have a long career given how violently he played, but it feels like the best part of his game is already nonexistent at 28 years old(29 in 2 months). I'm honestly surprised by how often he's going down to a single defender or getting tripped up by arm tackles. He might be cooked.

we dialed up a play for a dude that can't run a route and doesn't have great hands.

Fans shouldn't comment on s**t they have no clue what the f**k they're about. There's nothing lazy about this route. There's plenty to be critical about with Deebo, but this ain't it.
maybe put him on return man detail and elevate the rooks in terms of O snaps. he can be return man / gadget.

I don't think the lack of separation here is from lack of effort, it's from the CB squatting on an in-breaking route because Deebo doesn't really threaten vertically.
The decline from 2019 to this is just stunning. Incredible really.

the reality ppl don't talk about is the bag is a huge motivator. sometimes guys get it and if that's the motivator, well you just lost your motivation. takes special players to get paid and just keep balling.

We've seen this movie before. Player has a couple great years. Player holds out for more money. Player gets paid enough to last him a lifetime 10 times over. Player is never the same. He worries more about his health than the results on the field. I'm not blaming the players. It's human nature. You fight harder when you're hungry.

🤣🤣🤣👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. All receivers are taught to round out their routes. It's not lazy, it's genius!

You may be right, but I think Deebos lack of overall top end speed is catching up to him. Kyle has to (and can ) scheme him the ball on short routes etc where he can be deadly, but its fair to ask if that makes sense with his cap hit and the current roster etc. For transparency he is probably my favorite player on this team so its not easy to digest.

Well, that and the fact that he turned his head for the ball and proceeded to round another three yards of depth into his route. Not lazy in the sense that he wasn't running, but one of the laziest routes you'll see in the NFL in that he didn't attack the break
