Certain people, I don't know who and I mean all over not just here, heck even Richard Sherman said he was right for the Moody incident. Not defending Moody's misses though game one back, I get it. But it's like, if you're a team captain and you want to show leadership, show it with your work ethic and production on the field first and foremost instead of telling a kicker to "lock in". You're going to get defended so there's no guarantee that you won't ever have a down game. But these games where you're practically invisible, where multiple people are saying you get lazy and just quit playing if you're not getting the ball on a pass pattern, that's not leadership by example or anything else.
We'll see what happens with BA in terms of coming back from a ACL and MCL tear and that type of experience may change his attitude too. I'm kind of over these diva "I'm going to hold out and you're going to trade me unless I get exactly what I want types to." BA comes back and doesn't do anything except one game. And I get it, you missed the reps but that's still on you in part as well. Now Deebo is getting outplayed by a 7th round draft pick. But that 7th round draft pick goes hard every play on the field. Kittle and Bosa didn't cause that much drama when they got their deals and they go out there going hard and producing when they're on the field. You know Purdy won't, no matter what he does or doesn't get paid. You really do see a guy's character and what his motivation is in these contract situations. It ain't team. It's me. And hey, I don't have a problem with a guy trying to get paid. But some do it with a lot more drama than what is necessary.
