"He doesn't separate. He's not getting open. There's nothing that looks exceptional about him. We liked him in the dual role, but why would you hand the ball off to him if you have — before this game — McCaffrey and Mason? What carries do you… pic.twitter.com/ryVFaw8d3r
I'VE stated all what Baldinger just posted.. last year and the year before, I wanted to trade this guy while he still had value.. it was a freakin common sense that CMC can do what DEEVAH can so I was against on paying him..
Dang... I hate being RIGHT all the time !!

Carrying the offense back In 2021 must have really taken it's toll on him.
That's the version of Deebo we could do with right now, unfortunately, he looks done at this point.

u mean it took YOU 5/6 years to even realize DEEVAH could not run a route... I remember YOU pointing out how SHANNY fell in love with DEEVAH'S great running ability..
what you need to remember is how I've told you over and over and over that DEEVAH A GADGET..

Sad to see how far he's fallen. It wasn't long ago when the cameras caught him crying after the 2021 NFCG. Or trucking over defenders last season in Philadelphia.

The same will happen with Deebo. And folks will be pissed "why didn't he do that last year when we were paying him so much! f**kER!! "
This is mostly where I lean also. He has had several big plays that have been called back that would help his stats, our offense has been in flux all season due to injuries (aiyuk and little healthy would open space) and our o-line can't block crap when he gets the ball (seems to be hit be 2+ players each carry).
the drops seem to be all on him but wouldn't doubt some of that is pressure to make a play with the team playing so bad.
if the team turns it around next season or he is traded, I bet he is close to 90% of his 2021 form… just like TO, moss, Hopkins, obj to rams, boldin, etc.

Deebo Diva can't run routes and is not a wide receiver.

it's not his age, it's his podcasting. Common across all sports. Few athletes can balance two professions at once… deebo doesn't appear to be one of them.
Dude launched his podcast in September… which means he was prepping for a few months prior.
id put a clause in their contracts disallowing it

For all the comments about Deebo declining or just not caring this season….He is STILL the hardest player to bring down in the NFL that can break 1 or 4-5 tackles in route to a long td. Now for all of you saying he can't do that anymore, I disagree. He still can but what people fail to realize is a 50% Deebo is still among the top most dangerous weapons in the NFL. I'll take that and his contract unless Pearsall gets a lot better and/or BA is all healed up and ready to go or another team gives us at least the value of 2 2nds (which teams won't offer after this year).
He's averaging 14 receiving yards per game this year with 1 TD. He's clearly ineffective when you run the ball with him (averaging 2.9 yards) I've seen no evidence that he's still one of the hardest players to bring down. Frankly, just looking at the broken tackle stat he had 17 broken tackles last year (2023) and this year it is only 3.
LOL. He is terrible. Sit him and cut him after the week 17 game.

Moss, Owen's are HOFers who had multiple dominant seasons and had a competitive drive They are on the short list.
Deebo...No chance. 2021 form...that's laughable....on another team.? Cant run routes and has to be schemed open....and when he does get the ball he either drops it or is tackled immediately. He is not even a WR! He has no more skills.

I was about to say something similar.
I think players like Deebo and Juice, have been hearing all the off-season chatter from fans and didn't like it. Losing three SB, restructures, and pay-cuts haven't helped matters. So, they kind of just mailed it in this season.
I can see Deebo and Juice getting a new spark and finding their love for the game on a different team, after feeling "slighted". And have another good year or two before being done. and fans will be up in arms about it.
Unfortunately, I don't see it happening here. It will only happen with a change of scenery.

We must not be watching the same games. He is still breaking single tackles. Problem is he doesn't have any space after or another guy right there to clean up. Watching the games you see they are not spreading the field and creating space like in seasons past. I'm sure he will have a pretty good season if he goes to the rams, bengals, ravens, chiefs, etc… teams that can create space.
